Anti- V-day!
So I won’t lie, I love valentines day. Mostly for the roses and dark chocolate but also for how happy people can be with each other. My best friend on the other hand...not so much. So early on in our relationship, I have been determined to make her happy with an anti-valentines day itinerary. Instead of having a regular valentines day. I would do funny anti-valentines day stuff to cheer her up. (she really REALLY hates valentine’s day). So here are a few of our very merry un valentine's day traditions.

Today sucked. Really, really sucked. Have you ever had one of those days where Murphy's Law wasn't just active but doing the mambo on your karma? Yeah, that is my day. Murphy is an ass. Then again, what did I expect when my parents had the audacity to moon fate by naming me, Jinx. Jinx Fairweather Reginald Du Vua at your service. Gee! Thanks, mom and dad! You're the best. I groaned, staring at my mentor, waiting for the old geezer to finally get to his point.

You have all probably been to my "Hometown"
Home town. What a funny phrase. Since I was a kid, I have been asked, "Where are you from? Where is your hometown?" I'll be honest, I've never really known how to answer that question. As a kid, I'd always countered the question with one of my own. "Are you asking me where I was born? Or the last place I lived". You see, I grew up as a military brat. I have lived in almost all fifty states, and if I haven't lived there officially, I have spent enough time going there to almost give me a residence.
