Immersive Art
Unlocking my front door, I entered my apartment and slammed the door as hard as I could. I was sent home early from work because I was placed on administrative leave for the third time this year, and it was only March. Well, at least it was still with pay, but one more infraction for whatever reason this quarter, and human resources told me they’d have to terminate my employment. To say I was pissed was an understatement, though.

Cotton Candy
After getting off work, I headed to the nearest bus stop. I had worked the rare overnight shift, so I was ready to head home and crawl into bed. Unfortunately, that wasn’t in the cards today. As I came to the bus stop, my bus was going through the red light on the corner of the block. I had missed the bus to my side of town, and it would be another hour before another one would come by heading that way.

So the Story Goes on and on and on and Skewed Right, Then Cleft Down the Middle
Part One by JBaz Part Two Part Three Part Four Part Five Part Six ⬇️⬇️⬇️ The group continued on foot for over an hour. Carl and Jaylene carried Denny and Jenny, while Adam received a piggyback ride from Thomas. Agent “Don’t call me Rance” Cochran led the way, carrying Felix inside his carrier. Carl soon saw why they had to go in on foot; the nearer they walked to the Big Blue River, the muckier the ground became.

So the Story Goes on and on and on and Skewed Right
Part One by JBaz Part Two Part Three Part Four Part Five⬇⬇⬇ They’d returned to the interstate after driving through a few red lights on the side streets, and Special Agent Cochran sped to Bentonville, where they quickly switched SUVs. The Ford Expedition they had been forced to choose had much less space than the Suburban, and with its bright red paint, the Ford stood out.

So the Story Goes on and on and on
Part One by JBaz Part Two Part Three Part Four ⬇⬇⬇ Carl sat in the third row of the black Suburban with Special Agent Scallon. The children were asleep in the seat in front of them, and Carl could see Jaylene staring moodily out of the passenger window as the other agent, Special Agent Cochran, maneuvered the SUV through the sparse traffic. Now and then, Felix would mew loudly from his cage in the cargo area, and Barker would nose Carl’s neck or shoulder to remind him that he was still back there, Carl supposed.
