I am a Suffragist
I am a much better follower than a leader, but I often have good ideas I can develop into better ones when I meet with the right people. I also have a reforming spirit. If I were to choose a profession from the past, although I am not naturally a person who pursues danger, it would be that of a suffragist.

The Snatch. Runner-Up in Micro Heist Challenge.
I peeked around the corner casually while Louis sussed out the mark. Oblivious, he sat gazing into space at the park perimeter, his pricey leather laptop bag strap looped loosely over the bench back. Siren
The colors of the ocean were captured in her dress, ebbing and flowing like waves against the shore as she walked into view. Her face had a siren gleam that made the men stare. One of them gave a short, sharp whistle. She gave no sign of hearing it except in the rigid line of her shoulders. The wind caught her long, dark hair and it swirled for a moment, this way, then back like seaweed caught in the tide. As she disappeared from view, the men shook themselves, as if awakening from a dream, and resumed casting off.

Releasing Birds
Three days ago, a bird flew down the woodstove pipe. My husband threatened me with harm if I ever again dismantled the stove pipe to release a bird, then he epoxied the sections together. The failing fluttering I hear makes the need to help greater. Moving cautiously, I slowly open the damper, the baffle, the doors, and the hinged lid, then softly sweep along the stove damper with the ash broom. Out pops a sooty bird. After several flights around the room, it soars out the already open door- free after days of struggling, scraping wings. I can help them.
