The Boys - Revealed
Bethan and Katie Bethan is at work when Katie calls and heads to the disabled bathroom to take it in relative privacy. Her boss has been tolerant of her recent absences and has been understanding of her difficulties but Bethan knows that this will continue only up to a point and that she may be fast reaching that.

An Important Newsflash!!
We interrupt "Little Red Leaf" to bring you an exclusive update: Today, Rachel Deeming, author ordinaire, (the extra having melted away many months ago) celebrated with a large yawn. The cause of such heightened and reckless behaviour? Her writing a microfiction every day for the last 300 days: a Spartan amongst writers.

Getting closer...
Dave Bethan's following me. She doesn't know that I've seen her. Or at least, I don't think she has. I knew she wouldn't leave it alone. I thought that I could block her out but I should have known that when it came to Laney, she wouldn't let it go.

Following
Bethan Would it be a bad thing to admit that I'm excited? I feel...I don't know, like something is happening finally, after years of inertia and stagnation. I feel...invigorated, like I have a purpose again. I don't know if it's the contact with Katie or what, but I feel...closer to Laney somehow, like she's within reach.

Little Red Leaf- The Chapters
Here is a list in one place of links to all the episodes in my continuing series which started with Little Red Leaf. It tells the story of a mother who has lost her daughter and the mystery surrounding what happened to her, told through varying perspectives, from the people who know the truth to others to whom its discovery will alter their lives irrevocably.

Bethan's Plan
Bethan I tried to call Dave again but I knew that he wouldn't answer. I'm going to have to set an ambush. At least, I know where he lives, so I can access him, follow him. I let my anger against him and my concern for Katie fuel this craziness. It just feels like another chapter in an already torturous, twisted story.
