Creatures of the Deep
Mimic octopuses can imitate the appearance and mannerisms of fifteen different species. This makes them the ultimate imposters in the animal world. This octopus was discovered twelve years ago. Mimic octopuses make their home in the tropical waters of South East Asia. They exist on a diet of small fish and crabs. They have the ability to change color and texture so they can match their surroundings. The most amazing thing is that mimic octopuses can take on the appearance of other creatures like lionfish, jellyfish, sea snakes, flounders, stingrays and others.

Delectable Seafood
Europe Ireland A traditional dish from Ireland is mussels in cream. It is very popular in Donegal and Cork countries. This is a simple dish that is prepared with scrubbed and de-bearded mussels. First, the mussels are heated in a skillet until the shells open. Set aside the mussels. Then a roux is made with flour and butter and mixed with a bit of water and heavy cream and stirred until the sauce thickens. The sauce is seasoned with salt and pepper and poured over the mussels with their juice.

Melbourne on the Yarra River and Beautiful Victoria
Melbourne is the capital and most populous city of the Australian state of Victoria. It was known as “Marvelous Melbourne” during the Gold Rush in the 1850s. The city has a lovely location on the Yarra River right near the entrance to Port Phillip Bay. Today Melbourne is a beautiful metropolis with amazing hidden lanes for strolling and tree-lined streets. There is amazing Victorian architecture and breathtaking gardens and parklands.

With a career that stretches over 55 years and having sold millions of records, Neil Sedaka is a popular American pop/rock singer, pianist, and composer. Upon graduating high school Neil Sedaka and some of his classmates created a band The Tokens. They were popular regionally and had some hits.

Dance Me to the End of Love
Let’s step into the very first week of 2023 dancing! Hope you all have a healthy and progressive and successful year! “Dance (While the Music Still Goes On)” by Swedish pop group ABBA was written by group members Benny Andersson and Bjorn Ulvaeus. It is on their second album Waterloo which was released in 1974. The title track of this album won ABBA the 1974 Eurovision Song Contest and launched their career.

Dancing Butterflies
“Elusive Butterfly” is a popular song that was written by American folk music singer and lyricist Bob Lind. The song came out as a single in 1965 and was on both the Billboard Hot 100 and the Adult Contemporary charts. Due to the song becoming a regional hit on Florida radio stations it was reissued in 1966 and was in the Top Ten on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The song is on Lind’s debut album and is titled “Don’t Be Concerned” according to the opening lyric of the chorus of “Elusive Butterfly.”
