Toddler Milestones on a Friday
I took my son for his 18-month vaccination last Friday. I was nervous about the appointment because at his 12-month vaccination, the nurse warned us that this one would involve three needles. He’s a lot more aware of what’s going on around him now, so I was worried that this visit might be a little traumatising for both of us.

Toddler Tooth Discolouration and Mum Guilt: Our First Dentist Visit Panic
I’m very grateful to my husband for picking this one up, because for some reason, I let it slip off my mum radar. A few weeks ago, he noticed our son had a spot of discolouration on his tooth. He immediately mentioned it to me, and I remember thinking, Uh oh, that doesn’t sound good. But then I went back to worrying about the hundred other things mums worry about and completely forgot the tooth.
