Sugar Highs
You were the epitome of excruciating tooth pain. A breath too painful to take, a sinister flame slowly burning a hole through me and every nerve ending inside me. It didn't happen overnight. This thing between us couldn't be placed into a cliche box full of symptoms romantic comedies could diagnose. We were full of sly smiles and hurtful words. We threw them so often at each other, it became a weathered leather jacket we never left the house without.

Craving You
It would've been easier to blame this heatwave for my current dilemma, and granted it was partially the reason why I called you, but the truth was I was craving you. I spent too many sleepless nights tossing and turning, touching and rubbing, just thinking of you. I imagined how easily you could slip inside of me, pumping hard into me, the sound of our skin and friction only making my desire for you worsen. I wanted you the moment you showed up at my door, claiming not to recognize me, insisting you were only here to fix what was broken inside my home.

Gorgeous
I've never been the type to speak my fate into existence, to wish for something unattainable and completely out of my comfort zone. That all changed the moment I set eyes on you. I was nervous the moment you decided to wave back at me the day we met and I was nervous every second after that.

Skin Echoes
I have no idea why I'm at your door tonight. No. That's a lie. I know exactly why. And apparently you do too. You open the door as if you knew who was about to knock. Maybe you did. Maybe you saw me coming. Maybe you've been waiting for me all along. Maybe you've found someone else. None of those scenarios stopped me from finding you after we ran into each other again. Someone had to make the next move, and I wanted to be that person tonight.

Sofia: Part 8
Her entire body felt like it was floating on water, weightless, no burden anchoring her down. Or at least, that's what she wished was happening. When she'd woken up from her 16 hour sleep marathon, she felt as if all the pain in the world was infused into every nerve ending of her body. Salt in the deepest of cuts was nothing compared to how miserable she had felt.

Sofia: Part 7
Three days. Three days to gain concrete intel on who had dared to shoot up her home just to get to her sister. Something wasn't adding up. Her gut was telling her that much. But she went along with what she'd been told, and rounded up the best shooters and fighters she had available, and managed to surround the compound where the Night Jackals held their weekly meetings. Jade had gotten word of one of their members snooping about on the island and decided to follow them back to their territory on the other side of the island.

Sofia: Part 6
"Get the fuck off me. I'm fine," Sofia exclaimed hostly towards Andy, who insisted he exam her for more injuries. The shootout had costed her more than a couple of bullet wounds. She lost a few members of the Netas who were standing guard at the gates and they managed to injure Natalie as well.

Patterns
Within the droplets of rain brushing against my skin, I can feel you. You're either waiting to quench my thirst, or drown me in another reckless mistake. I'll take the latter. You're too important to ignore. At least, that's what my body keeps telling me whenever you're around. Like now, as I see you emerge from your cab and walk up the steps to my home, soaking wet in a sundress and full of determination as you approach me. Do you feel it? I'm coming alive, just to fall apart. Our usual pattern is repeating itself once again.

Sofia: Part 5
Sofia woke up with a massive headache pounding through her skull. She wondered where it had originated because she hadn't been drinking last night with Daviel. In fact, the last thing she remembered was him passing out on top of her before her mind went dark.

Sofia: Part 4
Funerals were particularly uncomfortable for her. She'd been to enough of them to know the ritual by heart. Still, every second she spent watching someone's mother or father weep over their dead son or daughter made her feel helpless and enraged. Another soldier who was part of their community had been killed without reason.
