A Can of Worms
I have grown up with the phrase, "I opened a can of worms." Throughout the years, I have always associated that phrase to a brood of brown slimy squiggly things that are crawling out of the bait can on the fishing boat. One touch and the worms shift and run for their lives in shear panic. Actually, the phrase, "I opened a can of worms meant chaos, dirt and dirty fingers.

Two years Growth
Two years ago, I began writing on Vocal to learn new skills, earn extra money, and to grow as an author. I had no idea what would come of all of the effort. Seeing that Vocal requires some computer skills, I was able to adapt to the platform rather easily. However, I developed many new skills that help me to enhance my writing.

Two Year Review
Two years ago, was my first story posted on Vocal. The writer's challenge has asked the authors to review the first thing we wrote. As I scrolled back through many pages of stories, I smiled at the first writing I made. Two years ago, my first writing was about my daughter.

Just One
Monday morning of week 12 of self-employment and working from home. Even though I have made great strides in completing my writing goals for Vocal, a media platform for writers, I have found I need to expand my world and become a better freelance writer. My mind has melted away as I have learned the ropes to the new road I am traveling. The past 12 weeks had been challenging yet rewarding.
