The Death of the Photo Album
There is no other way for me to start this read but to express my grief, for the passing of grandma's coffee table photo album. No longer are the days when a set of photos can be removed from a box and pondered over. Digital media has changed the way society has taken and stored their pictures. I, myself, don't print out pictures to display anymore. Just in my generation alone has this shift occurred in history. The race of the photo album is in an endangered status.

Old Dog Turned on her Bitch
I feel his pain as he looks at the computer screen. One year ago, I sat down and began to write a book that was buzzing in my brain. As I have written a time or two before, I obsessively work on a task until it is done and I completed the book in May. My point is, I must have looked like him many days this past year.

Dynamic Dominics
Mr. and Mrs. Robert & Waunetta Dominic is the topic of this writing today. I feel so honored to write about this couple because of them, many Natives Americans in Northern Michigan and the State have benefitted from their service. I view them as true warriors for the Native Americans. They fought for and were the defenders of injustice many Native Americans and other impoverished citizen in the area were experiencing. This couple, was a power couple and now I dare to call them a legendary couple.

Lady Owl
Lillian, brassened skin woman left her world to escape into the wilderness. Seven days she would spend at her favorite camping spot in central Michigan. Woods would surround her and a small river trickled next to her favorite camp site. She looked forward to long walks in the woods and fishing for her supper. She looked forward to her time with the creator and his creation.
