It's Kind of Embarrassing
Appreciating myself is a concept that I have never given much thought to before seeing this challenge. This caused me to look up the definition of the word, "appreciate:" to recognize the full worth of of something or someone. That hit me like a ton of bricks.

The Five. Top Story - April 2025.
This is for Angela Hepworth's unofficial challenge that I found most intriguing and caused me to reach a full of understanding of why I was profoundly touched by this mostly obscure movie, entitled: The Five People You Meet in Heaven.

Random Thoughts on April
Mikeydred has summoned us up with a new prompt. This one is to write him a story or a poem that relates to the month of April. He has even been so kind as to offer a list of goings on set aside in this fourth section of twelve that we are partakers of. I will try to include them in my madness here, too.

A Sprinkle of Cinnamon
pic from Pinterest "Okay, so I skipped school today. I just couldn't stand the thought of running into "him" after our horrendous break up. Besides, I could study better here and get a Chai with a sprinkle of cinnamon, just the way I liked it. My grade average wouldn't be one bit affected by my absence. My mother wouldn't find out, either. When the school calls to report my status, she'll assume I had been late (as usual) and tell them just to mark me as a another tardy. They won't have much choice except to comply."

My Mother's Spaghetti
Not many of us would turn down a good bowl of spaghetti, right? Especially our mom's. But how many of us would be crazy enough to tell the chef what to add or subtract from the ingredients or how to "plate it" once it was finished on the stove? I think probably the only one we could get by doing those antics to would be our mom? Other chefs might go Chef Ramsey on us but, in fact, some moms might dump their concoctions on top of our heads if we squawk too much, so fair warning!
