Cereal Dating With Alison Wonderland. Top Story - April 2018.
It is a rare occasion that one gets to sit down and really pick the brain of an artist whose style and sound they truly admire, so when I was offered the chance to interview Alison Wonderland, I must admit that I had a small fan girl moment.

Create a Certain Kind of Beautiful
I've never really understood how to start writing something like this, something that the whole world could potentially see. It's a thought I'd never really had, not until this moment of me actually putting all my thoughts out there.

The Philly Music Scene
According to PhillyMag, Philadelphia is the best music city in the country. There are many musical institutions that develop the learning and experience of young artists. From orchestras to musicals to live bands, there are a number of options when looking for musical entertainment in the Philadelphia area. The Academy of Music, established in 1857, is the longest continually used opera house in the US. Along with older venues like this one, there have been many additions to the Philly Music Scene. In terms of newer venues, the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts opened in 2001 and is mostly used for orchestras. Aside from more traditional forms of music entertainment, there are many venues around the city that cater towards more modern music styles like rock and pop music.

It doesn't matter what genre you listen to, I've got you covered. At the beginning of the year, Fall Out Boy released a new album. How Heavy Metal Saved My Life
When you hear the word metal, in regards to music, what comes to mind? Before I became a full-on metalhead, I was afraid of metal. I hated the genre. Until my junior year of high school, whenever someone mentioned the music I would immediately think of Rob Zombie, Marilyn Manson, Cannibal Corpse, Slipknot, and every other famously evil band that the genre had to offer. I was afraid of the music. I was raised in a very Christian household, and I thought that the music would somehow possess me, blacken my soul, pretty much everything the Catholic Church was saying throughout the 1970’s and 80’s, what my parents were taught as children. Little did I know, that I, and almost my entire family, would become Metalheads.
