Is There Really a Wolf?
Russ Diemon’s gold certified album There’s Really a Wolf is all about love, loyalty, heartbreak and his unstoppable hustle. Since the album's release in May of last year, I’ve had it on loop in my playlists. As a DJ, I frequently get requests for songs off this album at school dances because of their quick beats or softer tempos. This album makes me feel like I can accomplish something with my life with motivational lines like “I treat my obstacles like stepping stones.”

I fancy myself a Beatles fanatic, so I have spent countless hours listening to every Beatles song ever produced to the masses. Logic: 'Bobby Tarantino II' Review. Top Story - March 2018.
After the success of his hit single "1-800-273-8255" ft. Alessia Cara and Khalid, there are a lot of expectations from the rapper for his following album Everybody. Everybody left some fans disappointed and others in awe. No one heard that Logic was going to drop a new album until just 48 hours prior to. Logic dropped his album Bobby Tarantino II on March 9, 2018 and I have listened to it three times through already. Logic takes us back to his mixtape days with an album that he describes as “An unapologetically fun project that balances wisdom and wit.” Bobby Tarantino was the work that Logic released after his album that took him to the charts The Incredible True Story, so Logic takes us back to the art that he was creating before pop rap took the charts. For those of you who don’t know, Bobby is one of Logic’s nicknames, so the mixtape is supposed to give us the synopsis of his life since Bobby Tarantino came about. Personally, I am a Logic fan and supporter, and I believe that he one of the most underrated rap artists in that genre of his time. I’ll take you through each song of the album and walk you through some lyrics that stood out to me. Enjoy!

Combat Boots and Dive Bars
First Love...Concerts I've always been asked what is it that I love about concerts and I can't come up with a single reason but a never-ending list of reasons. It's the way when your favorite song is being sung to you when you're at a live show, or the way it creates goosebumps and send shivers down your spin. It is the refreshing first sip of your beer or soda, and you can't help but smile — you forget life's little nuances.

The Delicate Balance of Pink Floyd
As a prominent fan and borderline dealing with an obsession for the band Pink Floyd, I have to express something that needs to be expressed within this sphere in the last few years. Floyd fans know that the most prominent figures of the band are Roger Waters and David Gilmour. They have both embarked on comparatively mildly successful careers since Waters left the band in 1985, and had a Gilmour lead era for ten years succeeding the departure. In that time, the albums released, such as Momentary Lapse of Reason and Division Bell, are retrospectively regarded as similar to Gilmour solo work, backed by original members Nick Mason and the immense keyboard/synth talent that was Rick Wright. (It is imperative to note that Rick Wright’s 1978 album Wet Dream speaks volumes to his musicality and Floyd contribution; essentially he was the backbone of their signature sound.)

Best Japanese Rappers You Can Listen to Right Now
The music industry in Japan is very diverse compared to many other countries. While they're ideal in creating traditional music, they're also really popular in hip-hop. In fact, hip-hop is one of their most loved genres. Even hip-hop artists' fashion is unique as they dress in vintage sports jackets, baggy pants, caps—overall a 90s hip-hop style. Just like how singers in pop are praised for their catchy music, Japanese rappers are getting a lot of the spotlight, too.

Two Undiscovered Bands with Music That Will Be Stuck in Your Head All Day
One of my favorite things to do is to find new music from unsigned artists and bands. There are so many humans in today’s world just trying to make music and share what they feel through an outlet that is easily relatable. We all have our own style and taste to music, but I do like to consider myself someone who is open to listen to all kinds of music. My boyfriend is in a metal core band (Devil in the Details, check them out!) and I could not be any prouder of the music they make. I also listen to artists like Post Malone, Julia Michaels, Khalid, and bands such as Neck Deep, Knuckle Puck and many others. The point is, do not let the term of genres shy you away from music you could potentially fall in love with. Keep your mind open to the art that any individual could create.
