Chin Up, You're Okay
I enjoy composing playlists on Spotify much more than I can give myself credit for. I like to keep them short for Vocal because of my own anxieties with writing I guess. (The important part here is that I happen to cram pieces of music into random playlists and then forget about the songs for years.)

Chloe's Halloween
I have always loved Halloween! I remember being in back Grade 7 and being told I was too old to go trick-or treating by my mother and father. Now looking back at that time in my life, I think it is utterly ridiculous. I always loved dressing up in costumes, and the halloween treats were always delicious. I definitely was not too old to continue to go trick or treating back then. I can realize that now as an adult, although I know most people have differing opinions on Halloween and trick or treating, it never felt fair to me back then, watching my classmates continue to go out on Halloween while I was forbidden. I actually used to steal my younger brother's candy from them after I was forbidden to go out. (In my defence, they were quite a few years younger than me and didn’t need all that sugar anyways.)

Mona’s Hot Four Jams Tuesday Night Jazz Until the Sun Comes Up
Photo by Eduardo Pavon If you’re not familiar with old time jazz, you’re still very likely to get a listen on TV shows and movies like Boardwalk Empire or The Untouchables. On the other hand, there’s something very cliched about the jazz band powering up to let us know that it’s the roaring twenties, and the speakeasy is about to be raided. So much so that you almost want the music to stop. But the Jazz Jam at Mona’s Bar N.Y.C. at 224 Avenue B actually brings you back, and the only draw back has nothing to do with the music feeling like old hat.

Kat Spina Can’t Stop in her New Single and You Won’t be Able to Either
“This song is about uninhibited fantasies about romance and attraction. We (producer Brian Forbes) and I first began with the soundscape,” Kat Spina told Spinexmusic.com. “The lyrics are visually powerful and evoke feelings of independence, freedom and empowered sexuality. Can’t Stop captures the feelings of being mesmerized and captivated so intensely that it’s hard to get it off of your mind.”

Goth VS Emo
Through the eyes of the mundane, it is easy to see why there may be some confusion around the Emo and Goth cultures. When examining the difference between the two, many people give answers that are not correct or only focus on fashion. However, there is more to the goth and emo cultures than what meets the eye.
