My Childhood Celebrity Crush
We can all remember that we have had a number of celebrity crushes in our lifetime. We can face it that some of them we have completely forgot as time has passed us by growing up in life’s movements. Like who was the very first one that we ever had? Can some of us even remember? At first I couldn’t. I had various different favorite musical artists while I was growing up that I would idolize. Some of them being The Hanson Brothers, Green Day, Amy Grant, Hilary Duff, Switch foot, Eminem, Reliant K, and so many more I would play on the radio growing up. If I had their CD or CD containing their music I would play it on replay singing along.

Gary Puckett Remembers Union Gap and Young Girl
Photo by badgreeb RECORDS As musicians themselves, the parents of Classic Rock Icon Gary Puckett made sure their children grew up in a home where music was often played and listened to. His dad played the sax and sang in Barbershop Quartets, and his mom was an accomplished piano player who taught students at home. But the American dream they aspired to for their children didn’t involve all the uncertainty a musician’s life can have. Being the good son, Puckett attended San Diego City College, where he enrolled as a psyche student. Essentially unable to repress his true calling, he left the unconscious to others and followed the inescapable pull toward performing.

Michael Jackson: The Ultimate Showbiz Casualty
A little bit of everything has been written about Michael Jackson both in the fifty years he spent with us, as well as in the eleven years he’s been gone; everything from an alleged attempted purchase of the Elephant Man’s bones, sleeping in a hypobaric chamber, and the worst of them all, accusations of pedophilia. Where the latter differs dramatically from the former, is the truth that there is little to no real evidence when you run through the facts of the allegations with a fine toothed comb. So, why did allegations of pedophilia even come up you might ask? How did it get as far as becoming public and open to media scrutiny? How did it all come to the point where there was even a trial? And how did all of this ultimately, lead to Michael Jackson’s death? Much of this is speculation, my own personal opinion, with all the information that is out for the public to see. All I can hope with writing this, is you’ll let it sit in your head for a while, make up your own minds, rather than have the story the media has tried to brainwash you with cloud your judgement.

I Met The King On LA Brea
Through my adventures in entertainment out in LA, I met and worked with some cool people. Some people became like family and still are, some people let LA eat their brain up, and I go “non-comm” on them. Of all the connections I’ve made in the city of angels, the most brief interaction end up being my most valued.

A TRIBUTE TO JIMI HENDRIX
Rainbow Bridge, My Summer of Love I still recall the very first time I ever saw Jimi Hendrix. It was at the Newport Pop Festival at Devonshire Downs in Northridge, California, not more than a few miles from my home. It was June 20, 1969, just before I ran away from home. I will never forget that concert. It was a huge three-day event with two stages, the first of its kind to be held in Los Angeles. I was behind the fence because I couldn’t afford the ticket price, since my parents wouldn’t give me the $7 entrance fee required to get in. I found myself outside the fence, just behind the stage, with all these Hells Angels and L.A. street racers who were providing security for t The cops were out in force with their billy clubs and riot gear. As soon as Jimi started playing, they all lined up and started coming at us in their attack formation, pushing us like animals. We all ran in separate directions, and rocks and bottles went flying through the air in the middle of the intersection of Devonshire Boulevard and Zelzah.
