Hormones and factors such as friction can contribute to skin darkening. While these issues are common, it is not common for women to talk about them even amongst themselves. Darkening of the skin of the intimate area is nothing to be ashamed of. One woman looking to create a comfortable environment for women to speak freely about these issues is beauty expert and esthetician, Jamie Gill.
