The Ongoing Quest for Peace and Understanding
War is Not Good for Humanity: The Ongoing Quest for Peace and Understanding War has been a constant presence in human history, a grim and destructive force that has left indelible marks on societies, cultures, and individuals. It is often a culmination of complex political, economic, and social factors that lead nations to engage in armed conflicts. While war has sometimes been seen as a necessary evil, it remains a painful reminder of humanity's propensity for violence. This essay explores the multifaceted aspects of war, its devastating consequences, and the enduring importance of pursuing peace and understanding as alternatives to the destructive path of war.

All the Books I read in October 2023
I have a bad habit of reading multiple books within the same time. I think I need to finish reading a book first before I start another. On top of that I have been going to the gym more often to try and lose some weight. I feel like the weight should be melting off with with all the excercise I do. I swim four times a week (20-60 minutes depending on my energy for the day), walk to work every day (20 minutes). On top of that I am dabbling in lots of excericse classes and trying new gym equipment and classes. It’s so amazing how the style of yoga classes are so different depending on who your tutor is.

Exploring "The Art of Happiness" - Your Path to Genuine Contentment
The Profound Impact of Kindness: Nurturing the Warmth Within At the heart of "The Art of Happiness" lies an immutable verity, one that resonates deeply with the human soul—the idea that kindness possesses an extraordinary potency. It's akin to a gentle, comforting embrace that envelops your heart when you bestow benevolence upon others. The Dalai Lama, a paragon of compassion, underscores the pivotal role of embracing kindness in our daily lives. When you extend kindness to others, you not only brighten their day but also kindle the flame of happiness within your own being. Kindness is not a mere superficial gesture; it is a profound state of existence, one that has the potential to enrich your life and radiate its brilliance onto those in your orbit.

#Norsevember
Do you read Norse books? Then I'm happy to introduce Norsevember, a reading event in which we talk about, recommend, read and review Norse inspired books! Started by Alex of Spells and Spaceships in 2020, it was born after he thought to dedicate a month to read and review Norse books, and others on Twitter expressed their enthusiasm to do the same.

The Woman In Me. Top Story - October 2023.
I preordered this book the moment it was available. The Woman In Me is a great book that is full of raw and honest accounts. Over the years I have started to appreciate Britney even more. Britney needed this book to heal. Even if the book may be ghost-written, I felt her voice is present. This is the book that so many wanted to read after she had been silenced for so long. As a child and teenager, I had no idea how vilified Britney was. A childhood star that had been used and abused in every single way. The people who should have taken care of her exploited her.
