HE DOWN BAD FR Olympic Medalist Breaks Down After Winning Bronze, Admits He Cheating On His Girlfriend On Live TV

Sturla Holm Lægreid gets teary after placing in the biathlon.

This story is all about how cheating shouldn’t be a thing. Women should just know that men are going to have extra relationships. For Olympian Sturla Holm Lægreid, upon earning the bronze medal in the biathlon, he broke down into tears and boohooed that he had been unfaithful to his girlfriend.

What does this tell us? It actually shows that even at the near highest levels of professional sports where emotions run high, there is still a long way to go for these athletes.

The way this sportsman reduced himself to tears over admitting that he stepped outside of his romantic relationship is exactly what is wrong with this society. He wasn’t testifying and crying when he was with that woman, now was he? We may never know but one thing is for certain…there is a clear cut understanding of the dynamics of these “encounters” with women.

When in a relationship, the term “cheating” has to be well defined. Should you have an open book, open notes, or no books or notes, to put a schoolroom twist on the subject?

This is a vicious circumstance because at a moment where he should express even a modicum of joy for at least placing third, Lægreid should not have been in that reporter’s face weeping over the fact that he had run afoul of the union with his alleged Norwegian ice queen.

How he could even lower himself to the level of a simp is beyond most calculations. He might be a top-tier athlete, but his game needs work in the romance department. By being a true pimp, he should just say he had another woman on the side. He should pump his fists in the air at the glory of letting a broad know he had been unfaithful. Because at the outset, he must lay down the rules of the game before it is even set in motion.

What this requires is a titanium spine and a healthy consciousness. With all the distractions in the world, the real way to slice through the nonsense is to be upfront and honest about the way one conducts oneself. Placing third at the Olympics is a feat, but keeping a woman in check is the best part of knowing one’s own mental capacity.

For all the things he could have done, what he should do in the future is say his woman cannot have other men in the relationship but he can have as many women as he likes. That’s the firm statement that he should lay down to her when they lay down again eventually.

As he ascends up the ladder of success, he should show how selfishness is not a vice but a moral imperative. It doesn’t mean that he tramples over his partner’s feelings to get his way because he feels like it. No. It means that he is confident enough in himself to say how wonderful life is when you are right with yourself.

His partner should thank him if he does this. She ought to be glad she has a world-class athlete to look up to, admire, and worship. She ought to be glad that he didn’t just cast her to the side and say that he’s only going to focus on other women. If he had broken down to tears, the moment of almost total victory still weighed in his mind. If he had come in fourth place, would the world know that he “cheated” on the love of his life?

While it is impossible now to know, one can speculate that the relationship will go on regardless.
