Embarrassment
Eardays wet In Public
Is it normal to have lubricated ears? I'm really asking because for one, I am inclined to purchase a different type of headphones than any one I currently know. We can't share! Does anyone else remember when headphones came with strings to save itself from falling out and getting lost? Who took that off the tables of options? I have about 5 pairs of mismatched headphones, so inadvertently I am a known champion of the phrase "huh?"

Hawk Out
The pizza guy knocked and said “you’ve got a hawk out here.” “A what?” This was supposed to be a contactless delivery. He sounded serious. I leaned out of my apartment to check. Sure enough, something flew back and forth over our heads. I live at the top of a three story walk up with tall windows on both sides. Poor thing bonked itself against the glass several times. I’ve seen birds and insects get confused before, but never one this large and this confused.

Why Did I Enter the Fiction Writing Challenge in 2021?
The road that takes you from writer to book author is often a long and tedious journey. I learned this first-hand, along with many of the other important life lessons, as they relate to being a serious writer.

My Addict, His Beast & Me
"Breathe, girl, breathe. He's gone", I say in a whisper echoing through a cloud of disbelief. Staring into the bathroom mirror with my swollen, tear-filled eyes and seemingly permanent frown, I verbalize for the hundredth time, "Face it, he's left again. My addict and the beast have vanished and taken everything: the money, the car, and my misguided trust."

The Consequences of Being Poor
I recently wrote an article shedding light on what it’s like to be a broke gamer. For most people, their financial hardship extends beyond gaming. There are many hardships that myself and others face daily because of our difficult financial situations. While my financial situation fluctuates, I decided to further explore those hardships.

5 Stupid Things I Did Throughout My Life. Top Story - December 2021.
I am a pretty intelligent person. Or so I like to think. I have always prided myself on the fact that I was a nice, well-behaved, and normal guy. I never got in any big trouble in school, never got drunk or high, or killed anyone.

Eczema VS Tina
Learning to love me on the outside You wake up covered in blood, open wounds all over your body. Pain, irritation, and an itchable itch. Your blankets stick to your wounds because of the blood creating a glue-like bond, it hurts to leave it and it hurts to tear it off, risking reopening the wound. You look down at your hands and see them covered in blood, skin in your nails, and clumps of blood underneath. What happened you ask? Your unconscious self decided to rip your skin open. This is how I used to wake up when I was younger, all the time. you can’t even begin to understand what it’s like till you live through that scene at least once a week.

2020(won) 2021
This isn't about cars this is about how I let my personality get the best of me. I sure let the 2020 pandemic show up in a state that I tried to start fresh in. I knew at the end though my personality is so rare that my own truth hurt the people around me. They have the chose to forgive me, but don't want to see me. I believe that though it was all for the best anyway, I have to move on to better. No one told them not to like black cherries anyway, it had nothing to do with race or fruits anyway. I just have a sour attitude if you're not supporting me, yeah I pretty much said if you're not sucking my nuts and supporting me I will be a sour cherry.

Beyond These Walls
The woman standing in front of me is my neighbor but she doesn’t know it. She lives in the unit on the other side of my flat’s northwestern corner wall. And as much as I'd like it, we may not actually share a wall at all, just the empty space in between plywood sheets where mice and rat droppings—and hopefully no snakes—might be found.
