Shove the food down, not love
I loved receiving princess treatment from Leo. He treated me like I mattered, like I had a place in this wreckage world. Leo had been my 3rd boyfriend since starting at my new job. Maybe 3 is my lucky number, or well not so lucky for him.

The insecurity in my eyes
I have come across a good number of persons who do have a problem of insecurity and I thought I’ll address it in an article even though I think most of them won’t get the opportunity to read this. Regardless! For those who will get the chance, I hope this can make a change in your life for the better and help you feel less insecure.

Do I really need a new phone?
Recently, I lost my phone, and here is my experience without one for a while. Nowadays, not having a phone is like being handicapped; it's like you lack an arm or a leg because there are just so many things you won’t be able to do. Things like communicating, getting information, speed thinking, note-taking, purchasing things and much more. A great deal of our lives is getting digitalized, making these little computers indispensable, like an extension of our bodies.

Emotional Intelligence (EI)
Emotional Intelligence (EI) Many of us are familiar with IQ (Intelligence Quotient), the result of a battery of tests used to gauge intellectual intelligence. Better cognitive talents, which include the capacity for learning and understanding, are indicated by higher IQ scores, and those with higher IQs are more likely to succeed in academic settings without putting in the same amount of mental work as those with lower IQ scores.

10,000 photos and a whole box of journals
What aspirations for 2024 matter more than peace and love? I'll admit, I use Vocal as a sounding block mostly and in difficult times barely at all. I work hard to craft my stories in a way that I can get my mental health in order as I build out the parameters of the challenges I enter. The Challenges are certainly what keeps me hanging on.

My Year of Strength and Stability
I have always been one to have many goals and dreams. I have a million and one hobbies and a dream for every single one. From writing and reading to painting and drawing to pole-dancing and gymming to baking and volunteering, I have so many interests and passions that it's hard to keep track. And the dreams: I have a dream to hang a painting in an art exhibit, to publish a novel and to finally figure out how to bake scones (the last hold out) without burning them.

W.
It is Friday, the last full day of my vacation back with the family in a sleepy little town - okay, Hamilton - with all of my packing almost done. The day was spent on clothes-choosing, book-sorting, food-prepping activities, along with a short run in the old neighbourhood, a little light reading, and observations of the World Juniors (Canada needs to step up its game). I have another Top Story for a longer piece that needs two more chapters (I promise you all they are coming). And I am now happy to report that I have received some extra classes and will be able to relax a little bit around tax time.

Sideswiped by Extinction
AI is changing industries and creating new jobs while ending old ones. We’re learning and adapting, and this will continue. It’s a tectonic change, like the creation of fire, the printing press, and the internet. Yet, even while new opportunities are created, some companies will refuse to adapt, risking extinction for the sake of short-term comfort. It reminds me of that time a few decades ago when I lost a job powered by new technology to an industry trying desperately to cling to the status quo.
