Before, I dive deep into this article. I wanna let my readers know that I am not against people quitting their jobs.

I wanna share some knowledge on what you should consider first and then act accordingly.

I know a lot of people with the current 'Millennial Mindset' don't what to be in Jobs

Instead, everybody is after running their startups and businesses.

Which is a good thing!

But there is one bad side to this. Which I can see evolving!

It's with 'Quitting' current jobs

Today, employees are developing the mindset to quit their jobs easily without actually giving it a second thought!

This affects an individual career and if you have a family. Then this one decision can trouble them too.

Firstly, I wanna point out the most common reasons to why people quit their jobs in the first place.

Your Job isn't Fulfilling Your Financial Needs

This is the main reason people either switch their jobs (or) start a business.

Everybody needs money. Money is a tool that can help you lead a good life. So if your job isn't helping you with leading a good life. Then there is something to think about.

Again If you're too ambitious to live a luxurious life. Then no amount of money can fulfill your needs. It is always what you have and what you can do with it.

If other companies don't consider you for higher payrolls. Then,

Stop dreaming and start working on your skills!

You Hate Your Job

By Usman Yousaf on Unsplash

The main reason that we're not satisfied with our jobs is that we hate it. The reasons to hate your job could be like work culture and your role in the office.

Even though hate is a legitimate reason to quite a job. But you can always try to turn it around. You can try to work in different positions in your company and you might find something which fits for you.

You're Rotten up by this 9–5

If you think so, then I recommend you to take short vacations. Few days keep you aside and spend the time as you wished for.

If you're working around the clock to get things done. Then you sure need a break and don't be hesitant to take them. Request for these breaks as you've earned them rightly so.

3 Things to consider before quitting

If you don't have these things sorted before quitting your job. Then don't consider quitting your job.

1) Do You Have a Plan?

Once you quit the job. You've have got all the time in the world to work on the things that you love.

You might be assuming there won't be any morning alarms and you can focus on other things.

But in such a case, you are wrong!

Once you don't have a job. It's you against the world. You need to start from the very beginning and need to crawl your way. You should be ready to give up your waking hours to work.

The freedom of time is not guaranteed. You need to commit yourself to everything and success isn't guaranteed too.

Plan, where your next opportunities are gonna, come from.

It's important to have a plan. With which you can proceed with after you quit a job.

2) Have You Learnt Enough?

Before quitting it is important to ask yourself this question!

Because if you didn't craft your skills well enough. Fully understand what you're gonna be up-to. Once you're no more with a job. It's your skills which can connections which will sustain you.

Build strong connections in the marketer while you're in a job. The trust you and your connections can come handy at any time.

Remember to leave a long-lasting impression with your work. Let people notice you by your work. Your skills will help you create opportunities outside your job.

So be skillful enough before quitting!

3) Can You Sustain for Long Period Without Any Finances?

You must figure. That you can live up-to months down the line without any income once you quit your job.

People do tend to save money from their income before quitting their jobs. But is it enough?

Well, firstly you can't estimate 'How long a dry streak can hit you!' in terms of money.

You won't see regular patterns of income in your initial days after you quit a job.

You might have to live from days to months without a single dime of money coming from your efforts.

So, it's good to start working on something while you're at a job. Work for months on the things you wanted to do.

Understand the financial side and then estimate 'How much do you need to save?' and 'How long you will have to wait for success?'

Spare some time to do a side hustle, while you are already in a job. Later, once you're confident enough. You can then think about quitting your job.

Conclusion:-

If you can answer the above three questions to yourself. Then you are good to work on your dreams and do what you wished for.

But if you're quitting the job in a huff. Then you will have to face difficulties which you won't be expecting.
