It was May 19, 1983, Oregon, USA. A hospital named Williamette was there for a long period, It was a normal day in the hospital as usual, The time is exactly 10 at night, The nurse finished her job and came out of the hospital to get a taxi, When the nurse was waiting, she noticed that a car was coming fastly towards the hospital, Before she realised what was happening, It crossed her with a loud horn and entered the emergency unit, Now seeing this, the nurse also went towards the emergency area, Now a lady opened the door and got down, Blood was dripping from her left hand and was crying for help, And the nurse asked her who she is, and what happened to her, For that she said her name is Diane Downs and when she was coming in the car with her three children, In an isolated place with no human traffic, A stranger came infront of our car, And with the key in my hand I got down from the car, And the stranger asked me my car, And the second I said no, He shooted all my children at the back seat, Then I throwed my key away, So that stranger shot my left hand and went to take the key, So using that time I escaped with the car, Now 9 years old Christie, 7 years old Cheryl and 3 year old danny was rescued, And was taken into the hospital by the staffs, And Diane asked the nurse to call 911 and media, And the nurse immediately called the police and the police came there in a while, Now the doctors who checked the children said that cheryl died before she came to the hospital, And 3 year old Danny was paralysed below hip, And 9 year old christie was affected and lost the ability to speak, Now the police who came to the hospital started investigating Diane, Diane also said the same thing to the police as she said to the nurse, And the police asked how the stranger looked like, For that Diane said he had a lot of hair like Psycho, And said that he suddenly came out of no where and blocked the car, At the same time when police was talking to Diane, Diane was informed about her kids, Diane was heartbroken about Cheryl's death, Police started their investigation, And Diane was also given treatment since she was injured in her left hand, But the things happened after that made the entire Americans shocked, So what happened in this case?
