Donald Trumps Board of Peace has gotten money from countries. These countries have given than $7 billion to help people in Gaza. The US president said this when the Board of Peace had its meeting.

Many of Americas friends in the West did not join this group. They are worried that it might replace the United Nations. The United Nations is an organization that tries to keep peace in the world.

The plan to help Gaza has two parts. First Hamas has to give up its guns. Then Gaza will be rebuilt. Donald Trump said it seems like Hamas will do this.. There are not many signs that Hamas is actually going to give up its guns. People in Gaza say that Hamas is getting stronger.

Benjamin Netanyahu is the Prime Minister of Israel. He said that Israel and the US agree on one thing. They will not rebuild Gaza until Hamas gives up its guns.

The war in Gaza started when Hamas attacked Israel on October 7 2023. About 1,200 people died in this attack.. 251 People were taken hostage. Israel fought back with a military campaign. Than 72,000 people have died in this campaign.

Gaza is in shape. Many buildings and roads are destroyed. The United Nations says it will cost $70 billion to fix all the damage.

Some countries like the UK, Canada, France and Germany did not join the Board of Peace. They do not like this group because they think it might replace the United Nations. Donald Trump said that the Board of Peace will work with the United Nations.

Donald Trump said that Gaza is no longer a place where bad people and terrorists live. He announced that some countries have given than $7 billion to help Gaza. These countries are Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, UAE, Morocco, Bahrain, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Uzbekistan and Kuwait.

The United Nations will also give $2 billion to help people in Gaza.. Fifa, which is a big soccer organization will give $75 million to build soccer fields and other sports facilities in Gaza.

Nickolay Mladenov is a politician from Bulgaria. He is in charge of helping Gaza. He said that they have started looking for people to join a police force in Gaza. In a few hours 2,000 people applied for the job.

Israel and the US want to make sure that the new police force is not made up of people who used to work for Hamas. They want to start from scratch and train people. This is a task.

The plan is for the new police force to work with Israel and Egypt to keep Gaza safe. They also want to make sure that Hamas and other groups give up their guns.

It is not clear if this plan will work. Hamas has not said that it will give up its guns.. Israel is not willing to leave Gaza until Hamas is disarmed.

Donald Trumps plan to help Gaza will not work unless there is a security force on the ground that people trust. This force has to be able to keep Gaza safe and make sure that everyone follows the rules.

The meeting in Washington was like other meetings that Donald Trump has had to talk about peace in the Middle East. He likes to think about the future of Palestinians in terms of building things and getting money from rich investors.

Israels leaders are not sure about some of the things that Donald Trump wants to do. They do not want Turkey and Qatar to have a say, in what happens to Gaza.

Donald Trump and his team say that they are just trying to think outside the box to solve the conflict.. Nickolay Mladenov has warned that if things do not get better quickly Gaza will still be divided.. It will be hard for Palestinians and Israelis to live in peace.
