5 Reasons I Studied an Art Foundation. Top Story - September 2018.
So exactly a year ago tomorrow I moved 190 miles away from home to Leeds to study an art foundation degree at Leeds Arts university. I hadn't even considered a foundation and barely knew what it was about around a year and a half ago; so I'm writing this to inform and maybe even help others with their decisions if thinking about entering the creative industry.

High School: Junior Year (Chapter 7)
I remember my dad saying something about him having an early meeting today but didn’t want to go back to the office. He often did that. He was a corporate attorney so he was able to bring his work home with him. When he and my mom were still married he would spend lots of nights in his office catching up with the work he missed through out the day. My father wasn’t one of those tv fathers that spend all day at the office and then bring his work home and spend most of his home time working on work. He would always make it to mine and Alex’s schools activities and things that we were doing. He was a present father. He’s been a great dad, short of marring the Replacement.

On the College of Arts and Science
In regard to the colleges of arts, science, and business, there needs to be a change in the way in which the colleges interact. Currently, the college of nursing, business, engineering, and computer coding are taking the lead in highest grossing and most successful career fields. These are critical fields of study, but today I am advocating for the development of the funding for the College of Arts and Science.

My History with Languages
I have to start off by letting you know I am horrible with languages and always have been. With age I've gained some patience and that has helped me a lot. A few of the reasons why I think I've had problems learning languages is that I don't have great memorization skills and I get confused pretty easily. Luckily I can sometimes be pretty determined to do things.

Is There a Problem with the Education System in the Uk?
The University of Oxford and the University of Cambridge, both located in the United Kingdom, are often ranked as two of the best universities in the world, year after year, suggesting that the United Kingdom has one of the best education systems in the world. However, this is strictly incorrect.

Back to School? No Problem!
It's that time of the year again when the kids have a brand new set of supplies that they are going to need for another year of school, teachers getting back on the job after a summer of vacations and workshops and so on. This also includes new lessons that the kids are going to be learning that may not always involve the basics like language arts and mathematics. They may involve science, history, geography, and bits of animal science. Yes, that's right, animal science as in introducing students to the science of zoology and environmental science. The best part about introducing kids to this exciting topic is that it does not have to take place in a classroom at all, but it can be anywhere, like on a beach, a nature trail, a zoo, an aquarium, a wildlife refuge, and even a museum. However, if you feel that you need to add a little bit of "nature" to the classroom, you can always invite a keeper to do a live animal presentation at school. So, here are some ways on how to bring "the wild" into the classroom during the school year.

Seniors Are Bitches
It was a Senior privilege to run in screaming during rallies. It was also a Senior privilege to wear college sweatshirts over your uniform polo, eat lunch in the quad with the school bus yellow tables and, overall, to be a profound bitch. But at the present my classmates were shrieking and waving pink and blue pom-poms and straining against the side door of the gym, so I suppose it’s safe to say that only that first privilege was relevant.

Do I Have To Go To College?
I am only a sophomore in college and I have been going back-and-forth in my mind about whether I should be in college or not. Is the debt worth it? Is the stress worth it? There are many options when it comes to getting your degree; university, online, community college, etc...; but none of them seem to fit. At a university, you usually have to live in a dorm and have a meal plan for your first two years. Taking online classes are much more expensive, even though you're not actually going to a classroom which makes no sense, but that's how it works. Community college would require me, personally, to move back home and that was the whole purpose of me going to a university four hours away from my hometown was.
