In a previous article, I talked about why Americans have different accents, and how it can affect your life. Essentially, there are innate biases some regions of America have against other regions that, despite accomplishments and other indicators of ability or intelligence, tend to give a poor impression of that person. This bias is why broadcast journalists will work to neutralize their accent before trying to work outside regional stations. If you pronounce "pin" and "pen" the same way, or otherwise have a heavy drawl, that may be fine if you're working in Tulsa, but if you want to make it to Chicago, Los Angeles, or New York, your accent has to change. This is depicted well in the film "Sweet Home Alabama," in which a young woman from rural Alabama finds success as a fashion designer in New York, but only after abandoning her roots and her accent.

Abstract art reborning
I LOVE HOW T.J CLARK writes about Greenberg and how he approaches abstraction and kitsch in his writing. He also reminds me of the same school as Kirk Varnedoe of cause their languages differ in how Kirk deeply put his words when he describes each artwork as if he became One from where his words are becoming new world for the Art itself. I often linked one experience of Kirk lecture to Tj. Clark way of describing things maybe intuitively I was turning to him after discovering the language of Kirk but maybe there is a very little on a such conscious level or a state that feels really good about in researching for abstract art in general. It is how they both make the space of their worlds when you just enter their territory a real paradise for an abstract painter especially. If we talk about the abstract art and Pollock and the whole inifite language of translation that comes from his work up to the times of the now, we can no longer forget about the Painting Factory, Abstraction after abstraction by Jeffrey Deitch. We talk now from the time when abstraction became more external rather internal as Jeffrey writes but what about now ? Is it became more external rather than internal the four years of being in a completely new reality that changes that shifts so fast so strongly that even the youngest have problem to recover, to digest to born the new, the fresh out of them creating it on a daily basis for some known and unknown. I think now the abstraction became more internal at least for the majority of real abstract painters and creators who are doing the deep emotional work on a daily basis to digest the world, information and the life experiences. About what this abstraction talks about ? and how many of the work that really get us into a new different state of mind that excites our life that gives a new realm of living a new dimension to uncover we can find now ? Is it no longer a new sense of being and living ? It is maybe trapped in the phases of our life and trying to get out for the light but seems like the never ending walls and forces are changing its way giving us more and more harder experiences to digest. Where we can look for a balance in such existence and the way the language of art shifts and moan to be brought back to its senses ? I think the new is about to come yet I think the fresh new is about to arrive yet and even if it will carry the experience of the past it is still on the cleaning phase for the now internally.
