Poor Samantha

Once upon a time, There was a young girl about age 15 living in a poor community. She would live in a really old 2 bedroom home where everything would fall apart year by year. The young girls name was samantha and her parents had low paying jobs they barely made end's meet for rent,bills and some food. Poor Samantha had only 3 pairs of clothing and would wear mostly the same thing to school. Poor Samantha had just one friend but she would talk to her in secret and out of school because Poor Samantha was a laughing stalk at school for how poor she was. Poor Samantha would live in a manifestation of roaches at her home that everytime during night time she would shut the lights all off and the roaches would come out and crawl everywhere even on her but she had no choice of leaving.

One day Poor Samantha headed to school and she opened her backpack to take out her composition book out and Poor Samantha sat her backpack down while still open. A couple minutes later 2 roaches came out crawling out of her backpack. The other students saw the roaches and over reacted and said Samantha BROUGHT ROACHES! Her classmates started screaming like if it was a giant turantula, So the whole classroom started freaking out and they all ran out of the classroom. The teacher did not know why the kids where freaking out like that till she saw the roaches herself crawling by Poor Samantha, So the Teacher freaks out gets out the classroom and everyone but samantha stayed in the classroom because she was used to the roaches at her home she nearly lived most her life in houses full of roaches and she knew everyone was laughing at her anyway, And so the other students where outside the hall and looking inside the classroom seeing Poor Samantha in there by herself they thought she was crazy or something. So the students started making jokes of her saying "LOOK SAMANTHA BROUGHT HER FAMILY TO CLASS" Poor Samantha herd the joke and herd everyone in the hallway laughing and she recognized the student who made the joke his name was Josh. She secretly had a crush on Josh but after she herd him say that joke she dispised him. Poor Samantha didnt take it so funny the Teacher then calls the principal and notifies him about the problem because she didnt know they came out of Poor Samantha's backpack. She tells the principal we need an exterminator there is roaches in our classroom! So then the Teacher calls out to Poor Samantha and tells her to go outside that why is she still in there. Poor Samantha then grabs her backpack and goes to the hallway but before she did she steps on the roaches that everyone was so freaked out about. Poor Samantha then walks out to the hallway and everyone continues to laugh at her Josh said "LOOK SHE KILLED HER PARENTS" She got fed up with Josh's amusement and walked up to him and clinched her fist and socked Josh right on his lip, Josh started bleeding from his lip and the principal grabs Poor Samantha and tells her calm down calm down then tells her go to the office. Josh's lip swelled up and got sent to the nurse for further care, He was still in shock that she reacted like that. The nurse asked Josh what had happened and Josh did not want to say what happen because he felt embarrased of what had happen.

Poor Samantha then was sitting in the office while the principal called her parents and her mom showed up and explains to her mom what had happen and suspends Poor Samantha for 3 days. The principal had asked the students why she was upset and told the principal they seen 2 roaches crawl out of Poor Samantha's backpack. He then tells her mom if she ever thought about getting an exterminator and Poor Samantha's mom got very offended and yelled at the principal saying "I DONT NEED ANYTHING" from you or this dumb school maybe you should exterminate you're classrooms before teaching in them, The Principal stayed quiet.

So Poor Samantha and her mom where heading home in the bus because her mom had no other transportation. Then Poor Samantha tells her mom she was sorry but her mom replies no samantha im sorry for letting you live like this so she made Samantha a promise and said i promise we will get out of that house as soon as i get a better job and save up enough money to move out, But Samantha knew the struggle they where going through at her job so she knew it would be a while till they moved out but Poor Samantha's mom felt really horrible that had happened to her, That she busted out in tears and Poor Samantha to. So they finally got home and samantha went to her room and as soon as she stepped in the room her foot collapsed and broke a hole in the wooden floor in her room and she got more upset about how old her floor was and starting kicking the floor out of anger she kicked harder and harder that she made a bigger hole on the floor. Poor Samantha's mom herd the banging and runs to her room asking why are you kicking a whole on the floor? Samantha replied why is the floor so old "MOM" and tells her maybe if the floor wasn't so old and rotten it wouldn't brake so easy, Poor Samantha's mom then replies we cant afford to fix the floor though Samantha just clean this mess of broken wood up and we will see what you're Dad has to say when he gets home.

So then Poor Samantha picks up the broken wood and removes the broken pieces she broke from the floor and notices a little black book underneath the wood, She quickly grabs it and skeems through the book and finds out its a book of poems it had the title on the book treasure poems. Poor Samantha then tosses the old book on her shelve thinking nothing of it and when night came she couldnt fall asleep she had racing thoughts about her situation, So she got even more curious about the book and she felt like the Little Black Book was calling her. Poor Samantha then gets the book and starts reading the poems and it reminded her about her poverty situation because some poems would talk about a young boy going through something similiar as Poor Samantha. She stayed reading the poems all night because of the connection she had to the poor young boy who wrote it. She read the last poem and it said like this "poor or rich ill never miss it because one day youre here and the next day is youre riches".Then at the end of the book there was a map that showed her house and her whole neighborhood. Specifically it had her house and her small backyard circled and it had an X marked in her backyard according to the map in the book. Poor Samantha was confused about why her house was mapped out in the book, But she thought maybe the poor boy wrote the book and he had to live in the same house as her years back. So Poor Samantha didnt think much of it but it was constantly in her mind,That morning after reading all the poems she asks her mom what did she know about the people who used to live in the same house as them? Poor Samantha's Mom then tells her there is a story about a young boy who lived here with his parents he lived very poor just like us but i herd he bought a lottery ticket and actually won a million dollars, But shortly a year later his parents got a very bad decease and had pastaway and the young boy had no reason to live anymore and hung himself but no one knew what had happen to the money he left behind. So Poor Samantha thought it could be the money the young boy left behind, On the last poem. She went to the backyard really small backyard and all she see's is a tube sticking out of of the dirt. She looks at the map and behind the map had some instructions and it said like this 10 feet from the door 3 steps to the left 7 feet down right by a tube all you have to do is dig what's left. So Poor Samantha followed the instructions and it lead her straight to the tube, She tried pulling the tube out but it was difficult it was dugged in there to deep. Poor Samantha then grabs a shovel and begins to dig she dug and she dug but it felt to her like the tube had no ending. Poor Samantha took a break goes inside for a cup of water her mom sees her all dirty and asks her why are you full of dirt Samantha? she then replies im digging a hole Mother! And her Mom replies a hole for what she asks Poor Samantha then says i found a Little Black Book mom and it was from the young boy who used to live here i think he barried some money in our backyard! Samantha's mom didn't believe that but she didn't stop Samantha from digging.

Poor Samantha grabbed the shovel again and continued to dig and dig till she finally herd that she hit something metal she proceeds to remove the dirt from the metal object, And it was a metal box she was so surprised and felt like she accomplished it. Poor Samantha Then tries to pull out the metal box but it was to heavy for her she ran inside the house called her mom tells her "I FOUND SOMETHING" Her mom surprisingly reacts what you find? Samanha replies a metal box mom but i cant get it out it's to heavy i need you're help. So Poor Samantha's mom goes outside to help her, They pulled the metal tube connected to the metal box together and it was a safe and the metal tube wasnt just a tube it was also a key. They then turned the tube and it came off and in front of the metal box was a key insert same shape as the end of the tube they then inserted the key and twisted it and all you hear is click! The box opens they discovered a box full of 100$ bills and on top of the money there was a note saying, CONGRATULATIONS! You found my little black Book and my hidden treasure you must be really happy! I barried the rest of the money i had before taking my life away for i had to see my parents die and wish no longer to live, If you live in this house you are worthy of this money i hope you live a better life with this money and do you're self a favor and move out of this house have a great life and enjoy you're self!

Poor Samantha and her mom quickly take the box inside and started counting the money and they counted up to 700,000$. Poor Samantha's mom could not believe it still. She immediately started searching for a new home a new car she was so happy, Especially Poor Samantha she got what she most wanted was to move out of the house and buy new clothes. So they did just that and Poor Samantha bought herself new clothes new shoes even some earings. Everything she needed she bought and it was 2 weeks later and Samantha had not went back to school and her mom asks her we can enroll you in a different school now Samantha but Poor Samantha decided to stay at the one she was in to show off her new look. So Samantha went back to school and she had everyone with there mouth wide open on how much she changed her look and looked like a completely new person. She was glowing with her new clothes nice shoes and make up, She was completely more confident no one had any negative comments about her anymore she was just happy she came across the Little Black Book. Even her old crush Josh went up to her and apologized for his rude jokes and Poor Samantha told him it's ok don't worry about it and Josh asked her out on a date but Samantha knew he would never ask her on a date before she made that big change of make up clothes and shoes, So she simply denied him and told him no im fine thank you though, And he replied you'll always be a poor girl with roaches to everyone but she said yeah yeah whatever you say that just because you're mad that i denied you he stayed quiet and walked away. In the end Samantha's parents where able to afford to open up a restaurant business and they became very succesful with it Samantha never had to worry about living in a infested house full of roaches anymore, She would always carry her Little Black Book with her for in her free time she began writing her own Little Black Book because she was so amazed and also felt for the young boys pain loosing his parents so she decided to write a book about the Little Black Book she found and the poverty she was in and how she found a metal box full of money all with the help of the young boys Little Black Book.
