Open Letter from A Grandparent to Divorcing Parents
I wrote this to two people I love dearly to help them navigate a turbulent time the likes of which they had never seen. Thankfully, they weathered their storm and knit their family back together again. But not all people can or do. Now, I share this so others may share it with those they love to help their loved ones when they find themselves tempest-tossed in need of a way to navigate to the refuge of distant shores on the other side of divorce.

Smoothies: the Perfect Snack for Kids
Snacks. As if moms don't have enough to do in a day, kids seem always to want a snack. It can be maddening when little ones ignore a healthy lunch only to clamor for something to eat as soon as you clear it away. While snacks like Goldfish or pretzels are convenient and kid-friendly, it's better to limit processed food high in salt, sugar, and preservatives, especially if they ignore the healthy meals you prepare.

You Don't Talk to Your Parents, and That's OK. Top Story - July 2021.
In today's society, it is not uncommon for parents and their children to have estrangements with one another. Especially when our family morals have changed over time, and our awareness of our mental health has gained precedence in our day to day lives.

A Life Without Regret
Once upon a time, there was a little girl who had impossible dreams. She dreamt of becoming an Olympic level gymnast; she dreamt she would become a famous movie star and be known throughout the entire world; she dreamt she would hold the entire world in her hands. But that’s all they were - Dreams.

Children
When I was younger...much younger, as little as maybe 4 or 5 years old, I remember vividly that I never wanted to forget what it felt like to be a kid, to feel, to see through the eyes of a child. I made a promise to myself to never forget the hurt, and the pain that the words of others, family, friends and strangers alike can cause, and that that pain can last for years sometimes forever and can cause serious damage in an adults life. I never wanted to treat children the way I had always felt I had been treated. As less then, as an annoyance, as something that just needed to be taken care of. Adults are easily irritated by kids when they don't live up to their high expectations. They are let down because the attention and love the child has received thus far has been lacking, but that would leave the blame on the parents and most parents don't want to except that their child's issue is no ones fault but their own, or perhaps the only issue is they are setting their child up for failure because they set the bar too high.

How will i know if the Drug Detox is working
So, my friend, you want to know about how will I know if the drug detox is working? In fact, you have probably done a lot of drug addiction treatment before. For example, you may have been treated for a drug addiction as an addict and you may have continued with your addiction even after leaving the treatment facility. Or, you may have just begun your treatment and you are unsure of whether or not you can successfully detox from a drug. Either of these situations could mean that you have some trouble in your substance abuse treatment.

Technology And Gadgets Review
As parents, all of us have fought the battle with our kids as they are absorbed into a video game or movie on an iPad, tablet or smartphone. We've had a better chance of getting the attention of Tom Cruise walking the red carpet than our kids.
