The Leviathan
“Do you want to hear a fairy tale?” Grandpa Red wheezed. Screens with green lights and strange beeps mumbled next to his bed in the great house. The metronome of the heart monitor tick-tocked down the halls, reminding everyone that Grandpa Red was approaching the clearing at the end of the path.

Welcome to Parenthood
Cause we can take it there :) http://chng.it/BfS8mSWX The link above is to our petition to get our son back. If you have kids or want kids you would want what’s best for them. It is best for him to be raised in a home with his mother and father and not just his grandmother.

Different Strokes for Special Folks
The challenges due to the ongoing pandemic have helped us unravel our hidden abilities. Definitely, we have been able to think more creatively, hone our skills and form new ideas. As teachers, we had to review and revamp, unlearn and relearn to cater to the needs of our students in a changed world. As teachers, the first rule we live with is that each of our student is unique, talented and bright in their own way, regardless of their special learning needs. Some very subtle interventions have helped make the online learning mechanism easier for them. I would not say that things have been completely smooth but parents, teachers and most importantly, our students have pulled through this unprecedented year with grit.

It’s Not a Tumor
Of course this started with Katey, as the oldest she was always the first. The kids all went to Vegas for their 21st birthday and there was some memorable moments and one that I’ll never forget. I remember Kelly’s well for Dan ‘the man’ Valentine and I had stopped at state line and I hit a $1200 winner on a Wheel of Fortune slot. My girls then took full advantage of their inebriated dad when we got to Vegas and I woke up with one five dollar bill in my pocket, thanks ladies.

The First
Firsts: The First From what I’ve been able to ascertain, there’s a certain amount of pressure in being the first born of the family, pressure us younger siblings never know, nor honestly, care to know. The eldest gets/has to do everything first, that’s part of the job description, they set the example for the younger sisters and brothers. They are the trailblazers, the pathfinders, the true adventurers. The parents work out the kinks on the oldest, make more mistakes with the oldest and hold them to a higher standard, you could cook a thirty pound turkey under this kind of pressure, thank goodness I’m number three.

Cruising With the Clan
Cruising With the Dies Clan Our family is so far from normal it would take China’s Five hundred meter Apeture Spherical Telescope (FAST) just to view a glimpse of somewhat normal, but normal is boring, so we really don’t give a fuck. We do things our way, we’ve been through rough waters, way over our heads, but we always emerge unscathed, eventually.
