Review of the Midnight Club
If you have a hard time with young terminally ill adults, then this may not be the movie for you. Even though the focus of the movie is more on the manor and it’s past, it does still touch base on the young adults and the fact that they are facing death.

The movie 'Vaathi' fails to live up to its potential as a thought-provoking education drama, despite Dhanush's performance being unable to salvage the overall mediocre execution.
Venky Atluri's Vaathi (also known as SIR in Telugu) is a film that begins with a nonchalant yet intriguing introduction, setting the stage for a potentially sobering and thought-provoking story. The opening scene sees three boys discovering a box of video cassettes, which leads them to the District Collector's office, where they stumble upon a picture of Dhanush on the wall. The casual and subdued energy of the opening scene, coupled with the promise of an entire film in the same vein, sets the tone for what could have been an engaging and evocative film.

In the Earth
"In the Earth" is a movie that's tailored for those who enjoy midnight showings. The film is intense, eerie, grandiose, and oftentimes, profound. Although some segments may appear hurried, and the ending may leave something to be desired, each part is etched into your mind. The story is mainly set in a dreary forest that resembles a fairy tale, where science experts are terrorized by both human and supernatural forces. This low-budget thriller has the confidence and swagger of a big-budget production. Ben Wheatley, the writer and director, masterfully blends science fiction, horror, and supernatural elements, while paying homage to classic cinematic techniques, including Stanley Kubrick's "2001: A Space Odyssey" and "The Shining." However, the overarching inspiration for the film seems to come from the grimy, unsettling 1970s horror films that also serve as endurance tests, like "The Texas Chain Saw Massacre," "The Last House on the Left," and "Halloween." The viewers leave the film feeling either exhilarated.
