The pandemic was in full swing. My tuxedo cat, Bart, decided I was cramping his style with all this quarantine business and had made himself scarce. His daily hairballs were the only evidence of his existence. I was desperate for companionship and clean floors.
I ordered one of those robot vacuums and some self adhesive googly eyes. Thus, Marvin was born. He was charming, if a little stupid, always pulling the ant traps out from under the furniture.
