The Belchies - Tina
Tina sat at her desk as the evening grew darker, the light from the lamp shined off her black framed glasses as she looked out the window overlooking the ocean. Her mind wandering to her family and friends she hadn't heard from in what felt like a lifetime. After the passing of her father only months after her divorce from Jimmy Jr., Tina felt alone and lost. She purchased a small two-story craftsman home on the beach a few towns away, and dove into her passion of writing 'Dark Romance' novels. To her surprise a local publisher had taken a vast interest in her works, and began publishing them as fast as she could write them, giving her a decent income to live on.

Spaghetti Family part 8, you’re all on borrowed time
The glowing, swirling black chasm fell deep down through the hole in the house. I couldn’t stop looking at it. It was hypotonic. And there was my family, Robin and Manny, hiding in a chaotic, black and white electrical cloud, all the way at the bottom.

Spaghetti Family part seven, the chasm of tears
I feel pinned down and burning all over. I know instinctively this is Lesley, and her face scans the house in an authoritative manner stomping about, as I realize I’m no longer able to speak as I try to open my mouth and tell her to get out.

"Camouflage" (Roman Version)
So, like most parties, in this campaign, we were not in a modern setting. We were in a D&D 5e Fantasy version of the Roman Empire, circa 600AD. Also like most parties, we ended up making a decent number of references to more modern entertainment. The first time that I did it actually even made it into the campaign as something Bastian ended up singing one night - not so much to the party, but more to himself while he was bored. Lead to some interesting interactions. That'll come later as I go through his journal entries.

Awkward Aesop & Fable Baby
Aesop never thought he’d meet Fable, an adorable peanut with charming space buns, barrettes, and glitter on the sides of her eyes; a festival baby it seemed. She smiled while the world around her glistened. Nymphs rested at her feet while fairies flew around mushrooms of red with white spots, shiny to touch, spectacular, nonetheless. She pumped herself up on her hands, to her feet, only to be about two feet joyfully tall, plump, and filled with curious naivety. Nearly knowing nothing and all together too much at once, Aesop wondered, where did this cherub come from?

Spaghetti Family part three
The night sleeps on quietly, and Robin cuddles so tightly in my embrace as we try to rest. We both stayed up a bit after we put Manny to bed, talking over everything and trying to make sense of what happened with the weird singing recycling bin.

Spaghetti Family part two
I killed it. I killed the damn recycling bin that came to life and I smashed it to pieces with my bare hands. Robin was absolutely horrified and going through a panic attack, so I held him after I left and threw away the remains of the once singing monster teacher thing in the dumpster.
