The Fisher
My favorite memories of my childhood would without a doubt be the camping and fishing trips my family and I often went on. But one of those trips I will never forget. On this particular trip, it was just my Dad and I that would be going. It was on my tenth birthday. I remember how excited I was as my Dad and I packed the old jeep with all our camping and fishing gear. This was the first time that my Mom and sister would not be going. I probably reminded my Dad a hundred times before we left for this trip how this would be, "Just for us two guys trip".

Mentally It Exists Visually Not
I half slept and half awake, hearing the sound of rain falling on the window of my room asking me to get up, my body all drenched in sweat and my mind refusing to get up. Sometimes we all land up into some different world in our dreams from where we don't want to get up or, even if we want to, somehow time stops.

Warrior NUN: Margo
PROLOGUE- "Exodus 23:20" Margo clutched the engraved gold-plated talisman around her neck, it was all she had left. She stood at the entry of the apartment and through blurry eyes watched the enraged fire swallow all her belongings. The apartment wasn't anything special, but it was the only place where she could remember both her parents vibrant and happy. Her father was a strong and proud man, never forgetting his roots and through hardships would hold steadfast to his faith; something he tried to instill in her, but she never took to it. Neither did her mother and maybe that is what caused their separation. Her mother was a gentle soul, always smiling and always loving but was free-spirited and didn't believe in being controlled by religious practices. The memories of who they used to be wilted and cracked under the ferocious flames, turning to ash and dust.

Never Let Go. Runner-Up in Unexpected Uncovering Challenge.
He hasn’t seen her, not really, since his brother’s wedding, over three years ago. Not that it’s either of their faults, with the war and her time trying to find her parents followed by his stint overseas for the shop. God, she’s fit. He doesn’t remember her being that fit. Of course, this is his sister’s wedding, so it might have something to do with that bridesmaid’s dress and the way it hugs her in all the right places. Or maybe it’s the way the setting sun catches in her hair – or the way her eyes sparkle in the twinkling lights that have come on as the sun left. Her grin is white and wide and happy, and her lips look soft and darker than they should be. He could have sworn he hated lipstick but now all he wants to do is test if the color on her lips is as long-lasting as she says it is.

An Unexpected Encounter
It was the opening night of his feature debut. Screaming fans swarmed the floor as the cast appeared one by one down the red carpet. The crowd roared louder as he began to approach them. Walking slowly, he stops and poses for his photo. He turns left and right, locking eyes with the paparazzi. He undeniably knew how to work a crowd. His hair was slicked back into a bun and he had a tiny bit of scruff on his jaw line, mimicking a five o’clock shadow. You could tell he was still partially in character by his appearance, which to me, was extremely attractive. Wearing a navy blue Armani suite with a bow tie, no one could make this look better.
