The Secret To Success - an eye opening story
Formerly upon a time there was a youthful man who worked at a plant his tutor an old technician tutored him to talk less do further and noway stop developing his chops in every aspect of the plant's operations ten times latterly the old man retired and the youthful man came a technician himself he continued to do his work with the same fidelity and industriousness as he was tutored one day he visited his tutor the old man saw that he sounded unhappy and asked what was troubling him the youthful man soughed and poured his heart out i have been following your instructions exactly all these times no matter what i work on i keep quiet and concentrate on the job i know i've done good work at the plant and i've learned all the chops that can be learned there what i don't understand is that the guys who do not have my experience or capabilities have all been promoted while i'm still making as little as i did ahead when i was your apprentice the old man asked are you positive that you have come necessary to the plant the youthful man jounced yes the old man paced back and forth to suppose after a while he turned to the youthful man must request the day off using whatever reason you like it is time for you to give yourself a break the youthful man was surprised by this advice but the more he allowed

Three Minute Microfiction
three micro fabrication pieces written and recited by robert fairhead number one there's no need to wake up it's the grand final and the temptress is due at any moment my platoon demurred the ball and it tumbles towards our pretensions our sympathizers cheer and roar willing the ball to be straight and true though some like me hold our breaths a thing will win the game for our platoon and we will be titleholders for a many heart- stopping seconds while the ball tumbles and we roar or hold our breaths a platoon has neither won nor lost and also it happens the ball falls short the other platoon gathers it and their sympathizers raw the temptress sounds our sympathizers are silent while theirs cheer loudly but latterly when i dream of those final many seconds that cursed ball tumbles straight and true through my platoon's pretensions it's our sympathizers who cheer and war the loudest and we're the titleholders and though i know it's only a dream i'm filled with joy so if i am tossing and turning in bed do not shake my shoulder leave me sleeping there's no need to wake up number two and i did not indeed get condemned i had borne guilt and despair about the fate of our overpopulated and weakened earth for numerous times also in a waking moment i saw how i a lowly middle-aged nothing could save the earth and her people and all her precious life a gathering of world leaders was my chance i would shirk the security cordon insinuate their private meetings and move them of the need for critical action with scientific data and numbers and superheated speech yes there would be consequences i would be arrested condemned and spend long lonely times behind bars and i would not see my children grow into grown-ups but the conviction and jail term would be worth it to know that i had saved the earth for them their children and their children's children i smiled and made my plan yet when the day came i did nothing i watched the world leaders on the television news pledging further profitable growth and security cooperation with no citation of poverty pollution or climate change i lay in bed that night insomniac still racked with guilt and despair i didn't save the earth meengen280 i did not win the competition but i repurposed the piece for another microfiction competition run by the australian pens center in 2019 as we need to talk in 29 words and this was published A little boy , Krish got angry with his mother and shouted at her, " I hate you ! I hate you! ".He shouted for not buying toys for him. As she lost her husband recently in a car accident, she has only enough money to support family expenses and kindergarten expenses of krish. Because of reprimand of fear, Krish ran out of the house suddenly. When his mom came from kitchen and searched for krish, he is nowhere inside and around the house. She felt bad on being a mother to kid who couldn't even afford what her kid wants. Krish went up to the valley and shouted,” I hate you !I hate you!" The echo returned " I hate you ! I hate you!". Having never heard of an echo before, he was scared and returned to his mother for protection. He said there was a bad boy in the valley who shouted, "I hate you! I hate you!". The mother understood that its a echo. So she asked krish to go back to the valley and shout, "I love you! I love you!". The little boy went and shouted "I love you ! I love you" and back came the echo. It taught a little boy a lesson, that our life is like an echo; We get back what we give. "When you are good to others , you are best to yourself ".whether it's your thoughts actions or behaviour, sooner or later they return - and with great accuracy. Treat people with respect on your way up because you will be meeting them on your way down.
