He would not show fear as he knew his decision was just and true. With his last few breaths, he gave the crowd a maniacal-looking grin, knowing Lady Justice would take her revenge.

With each step, her worries melted away, replaced by the symphony of birdsong and the fragrance of wildflowers. In this tranquil sanctuary, she discovered solace. With arms outstretched, she spun, embracing the sheer joy of being alive. In that enchanted moment, the weight of the world lifted, leaving behind a soul rekindled. The meadow whispered its secrets, promising that amidst chaos, pockets of serenity could be found. And so, she danced on, a free spirit in a world of wonder.

Phantoms
They come about with groans as the sun goes down. The afterlife is quite different without their bodies. It takes much more effort than before to lift and handle objects, but some master the skills again: smoking pipes and drinking glasses rise mid-air to their own success, well-earned.

Whispers in the Wind
He sat on the park bench, lost in thought. The world rushed by, oblivious to his invisible struggle. Shadows of regret played on his face as he recalled the missed opportunities, the words left unsaid. A crumpled piece of paper, a forgotten love letter, slipped from his pocket. It danced in the wind, teasing him with what could have been. In that moment, a gust of wind carried it away, a symbol of his faded chances. As it disappeared into the unknown, he vowed to seize the present, to never let another opportunity slip through his fingers.

Phoenix
The flames surrounded her weary frame causing her body to quake with every breath she took. Silence hung over her throughout the thick smoke that had taken her world away from her. No one could help her. They had all met their fate. She knew the end was near and embraced it. As the flames licked her, the smoke smothered her. Her lungs gave in to the smoke stealing her last breath and cursing her with another first.

Plea of Temporary Insanity
“They willl forget you, you know.” He said taking the needle and squirting it lightly as he scanned for a suitable vein. “It doesn’t matter,” I sighed, “I had to say it, all the words. Freedom is important. They may forget me, but you can’t kill an idea. If I have to die so be it, I will meet my maker in peace. And my words are out there for all to know forever in the minds of future generations. They may forget me, but they will remember my ideas.”
