The Lesions of Devotion . Top Story - February 2026.
Every day I set myself down on the freshly cut lawn and strip myself bare. I take my guitar and finger the frets and pick at the strings, listening for dissonance. My life is dissonance. I twist the tuning pegs until each string sounds bright. Then I kneel, calves pointing behind me, kneecaps facing forward. All exposed to the breeze. I close my eyes and play the melody.

The Compliance of Ordinary Things
The first time the ceiling began to drip, everyone looked up like it was weather. It wasn’t water. It was thick and pale and slow, the color of skim milk left out too long. It gathered in a soft bead, swelled, and fell with a quiet, wet punctuation onto the carpet beside Reception.

How to Fuck Around. AI-Generated.
Language is alive, and slang is often where it grows the fastest. Among the many expressions that have emerged and evolved over the last decade, few have captured the imagination—or the eyebrows—of English speakers quite like the phrase “fuck around.” At first glance, it seems crude, irreverent, and downright offensive. But dig a little deeper, and you’ll find that it’s much more than a simple expletive; it’s a linguistic mirror reflecting modern culture, humor, and social dynamics.

The NEED to always WIN!
The need for humans to always win is a driving force of immense proportions. We must choose craft - for the other side of our soul would simmer in a never ending fire of which only a dragon of legend could endure, without imploding and exploding.

Why I'm Glad My Twin Sister Died
The most unusual or unexpected feeling I have ever had was feeling glad my twin sister Holly died. Holly died last year when she was hit by a drunk driver trick-or-treating with her friends. I stayed home because I was sick and also I knew I was 'fifth-wheeling' because the group was all her friends and I knew no one would miss me. I did cry at first but mostly I am happy she's gone. I have never told anyone about this unusual feeling because I think my mom and dad would be mad and everybody would like me less than they already do. Why I feel glad Holly is dead is because of 3 main reasons which are that we were too similar (looks only), we were too different, and because after she died people are nicer to me. In this essay I will go into more detail about all of these reasons.

Craftation in the Garden of Literary Delights
In the garden of earthly delights where beauty meets debauchery. That’s where we sit and discuss it all. Craft without catharsis. Our protagonist thought long and hard about the prospect. I imagine them — or us, if you envision yourself as one of them — waiting like those in that play of waiting and existentialism. We’re always waiting, and even when waiting doesn’t explicitly carry emotion, it’s there. How do you remove the release necessary to create something others will connect with?
