Faith Under Fire
Faith Moore is in her car rushing to her new job as a chef at a popular local restaurant called RightNFrontOfU when her car suddenly catches a flat tire. With the ensuing car trouble she will surely be late at her new demanding job which she desperately needs and fears she will risk losing. Faith proceeds to pull to the side of the road where an elderly gentlemen named Christopher is checking his mailbox. As Faith comes to a complete stop, she picks up her phone to call AAA, but finds that her phone is dead from having not been charged. She angrily gets out of her car and catches the attention of Christopher.

King Kahlil 2
Kahlil Davis has been held in the county jail for the past 2 months since he created the King Kahlil challenge. Thousands of people nationwide have reenacted the challenge with promises of the challenge growing unless Kahlil is exonerated for violating quarantine. As Kahlil sits in a jail cell, a loud chorus of cheers from fellow inmates throughout the cell blocks is underway, with inmates chanting his famous King Kahlil challenge quote “K-DEE BAAAABY”.

It was a dark night and was raining from time to time. Gusts of wind shook the trees. There were strange noises and in between the thunderclaps, the moaning of jackals could be heard. Flashes of lightning revealed fearsome faces and there was strange and mysterious laughter of the spirits.

We open to a dark alleyway in the heat of the night to find a young man named Jeffrey running through the alley away from the sounds of police sirens in the distance. As the siren sounds draw closer Jeffrey nears the backdoor of a meat market known as “The Chop Up”, as he runs past the door, it suddenly opens and he collides with it, falling to the ground. As Jeffrey comes to and looks up he is staring at an elderly Black male named Calvin with a denim jacket on.

The Art Critics
The following is a short sketch I wrote in 2018 and workshopped during my sophomore year of college for my Independent Performance Lab class. A year later, I adapted the sketch for a radio program I created and produced for my college's radio station during that time, as seen in the video above.
