Lost City: Found
Like I have told you before the story I’m tellin’ is one that mama told me, that her mama told her, so on and so forth. Now, I left off right after the earth had merged the Waymaker Gemini Coven into Nimue and Niam and fulfilled the promise of filling the earth with inhabitants in 1450. My mama told me that Nimue and Niam sure made that old barn on the outskirts of town a real fancy place back in their day. Come to think of it, that barn is right on the edge of my mama’s property. Hmm, I wonder, nah, let’s get on with the tale of how lost city got found.

The Chronicles of Verspania
Beneath the blanket of space in the sky, an 8 year-old girl lay underneath a barn skylight, looked up into the stars and listened to a bedtime story. The girl lay surrounded by itchy hay and a thick woollen blanket sat over her body as little Iris’ mother began to tell a story of magic, mystery and wonder.

Captain Rydian of the Human Galactic Unit
I walked towards work quietly. As much as I wanted to get my ship finished, I knew I needed to keep from looking anymore suspicious. And who could say how long it would take? I couldn't very well finish the ship if Alphonse and I starved on the streets.

Whispering Death (part 1)
It was a chilly night as the door of the hostel swung open. The owner glanced over, smiling brightly as two girls walked in. A tall-looking woman beside a younger child stepped through the doorway, removing their hoods from their colorful assorted clothing. The child looked worn from her travels, sleep claiming her as she rubbed at her eyes. The taller one wrapped her arms around her protectively, leading them closer to the owner. Both of the girls shared the same color of eyes, dark hazel with gold flakes. The owner was sure they were sisters just based on their similar looks and how close they were.

The Iron Bull
Earth Angel by The Penguins was playing on the radio. It was the perfect song for my picnic preparations. I was going to propose to her today and I needed everything to be perfect. I’d made her favorite sandwich, roast beef on pumpernickel with just a dollop of brown mustard and a bunch of havarti cheese. I had an assortment of crudité prepared, all of her favorite vegetables and fruits: cherry tomatoes, bell peppers, radish, strawberries, pomegranate.

A Tricky Trek
I stood in the center of the rows of cars that had long been abandoned. Doors hung open intermittently between the random SUV's and compacts that had their colors stolen from them by the assault of rain, sunlight, and fire. Dark charcoal patches bled from car hoods to the asphalt that showed the scorch marks of what was either fire bombs or engines that simply couldn't handle the journey to begin with.
