The Rising of the Milkfill Magic 1
the chocolate family

At the edge of Milkfall Village stood a modest little house where the Chocolate Family lived. No one knew much about their past, and no one ever spoke about the father who had disappeared long ago. All that was certain was that Mama Halima, gentle yet strong, had raised her three sons with love and hope.
Farid, the eldest, was brave and sharp—destined, many believed, to become a leader one day.
Sabour, the middle son, was calm and thoughtful, always calculating before speaking.
And Jamil, the youngest, was cheerful, curious, and clever—known for turning even boring days into joyful adventures.
Life was simple, but the three brothers were happy.
The Shadow of Sigma
Overseeing the village was Sigma, a wealthy and corrupt ruler. With pockets full of cocoa coins and guards who obeyed without question, Sigma controlled Milkfall Village with an iron fist disguised in a sugar-coated smile.
But beneath that smile hid a dark plan.
For long ago, the villagers had defeated Sigma’s evil uncle, Darkon, one of the most dangerous beings ever created on planet Choco. His spirit was sealed away, but his body… had never been destroyed.
And now, with the magical year approaching, Sigma saw an opportunity.
The Great Festival
One morning, village drums echoed through every street. Banners were hung, music filled the air, and bright lights decorated the houses.
Sigma announced a Grand Festival—the largest celebration in the history of Milkfall Village.
Free sweets.
Giant games.
Firework shows.
Dances and music that shook the cocoa ground beneath their feet.
The villagers cheered with excitement, believing the festival was a gift.
But it was a distraction.
While the villagers would be busy celebrating, Sigma planned to reach the Milky Falls alone, using its magic to revive Darkon and restore the old darkness.
A Secret Heard by Pico
Not everyone was fooled.
Pico, the owner of the small village café, was polishing cups when travelers whispered strange rumors:
“Something stirs beneath the Falls…”
“The ruler has been seen near the cliffs at night…”
“A forbidden ritual may return…”
Pico’s heart tightened.
He wasn’t just a café owner—he was also Farid’s teacher in ancient combat arts.
If danger was coming, Farid was the one he trusted.
But first, Pico needed proof.
He stepped outside, looking toward the distant glow of the Milky Falls, its milky white stream shining under the twilight sky.
The air felt colder.
Something was wrong.
And the first signs of danger were already moving toward the Chocolate Family… though none of them knew it yet.
The Broken Friendship
Morning sunlight melted gently over Milkfall Village, warming the narrow chocolate roads where young villagers often gathered to play or trade sweets. Farid, carrying a basket of cocoa fruits for his mother, walked cheerfully toward the village square.
There, he spotted Yahya, his childhood friend.
For years, they had trained together, raced through the fields, and dreamed of exploring the distant lands of planet Choco.
But everything changed that day.
A Hurtful Word
As Farid approached, Yahya’s mother stepped out of their large, decorated house. Her shiny chocolate coat and golden accessories glowed proudly under the sun. She looked at Farid’s simple clothes and small basket… and frowned.
“Yahya,” she said loudly, making sure Farid could hear,
“stop wasting time with children from poor houses.”
Farid froze.
His heart tightened.
Yahya’s eyes widened—he hadn’t expected his mother to say that.
“Mother… please,” Yahya whispered, embarrassed.
But the damage was done.
Farid lowered his gaze, fighting the sting behind his eyes.
The Fight
“Farid, wait—” Yahya called after him.
Farid turned sharply. “Why didn’t you say something? Or tell her she was wrong?”
Yahya crossed his arms, trying to hide his shame with arrogance.
“You know how she is. Besides… maybe you’re too sensitive.”
“Too sensitive?!” Farid snapped. “She insulted my whole family!”
“Said the boy who lives in a tiny house and acts like a hero,” Yahya muttered.
That was the spark.
Both boys lunged at each other—pushing, yelling, rolling on the cocoa ground.
Villagers rushed to separate them, shaking their heads in disappointment.
From that day forward, Yahya turned his embarrassment into pride and bitterness.
He began mocking Farid, throwing careless comments, trying to look superior with the help of his wealthy parents.
And Farid… learned to ignore him.
But the hurt stayed.
Whispers From Pico
Later that evening, Farid sat alone near the edge of the village, watching the distant glow of the Milky Falls. He wished the day had gone differently.
Then he heard footsteps.
It was Pico, the café owner—and Farid’s secret combat mentor.
“Rough day?” Pico asked gently.
Farid nodded. “Yahya changed.”
“People change when their pride grows faster than their hearts,” Pico replied.
“But listen carefully… I didn’t come here because of Yahya.”
Pico looked around to make sure no one could hear.
“Farid… the secret council is gathering soon. Something dangerous is happening near the Falls. I want you there.”
Farid straightened. “Is it serious?”
“Serious enough that only those I trust can join.”
Farid swallowed hard. “Should I tell my brothers?”
“Tell Sabour,” Pico whispered.
“His calm mind will help us. But don’t tell Jamil. He’s too young… and too curious.”
Farid nodded firmly.
A Hidden Secret
That night, Farid pulled Sabour aside.
“There’s something we must do,” he whispered.
“A meeting… a secret one. Pico needs us.”
Sabour’s eyes sharpened. “Does it have to do with the Falls?”
“Yes. And promise me—don’t say a word to Jamil.”
Sabour placed a hand on his brother’s shoulder.
“I promise.”
Just outside the door, hidden behind the wall…
Jamil’s eyes widened.
He had heard everything.
And thus, without knowing it, the brothers’ first step into the great adventure had already begun.
