John Thornton Erotic Photographer
John Thornton's work might be mistaken for that of Guy Bourdin or Helmut Newton, but under the scrutiny of self-transformation for which his composition and unique color sense have become the primary means of initiation, Thornton’s photographs conflate the social barriers that define our concepts of reality and fantasy. He is amused by the paintings of Magritte and fascinated by the work of engravers such as Dine, Hockney, Edwards, and Fallon. Thornton confesses to an absolute love of women (his favorite subject), of color ("I am incapable of seeing in black and white"), of electronic lighting ("My strobes have a total power output of 2,000 watt-seconds"), and of the good natural light of our old sun. He adds that his collection of lenses range from 20mm to 500mm, that he checks each pose with a Polaroid before shooting, and that he conceives of his photographs as fairy tales.

Did Anna Wintour Work in Porn?
By today's standards, porn is gritty, sweaty, and available in one click. In the late 1970s, under Anna Wintour's guidance, porn at Viva magazine was artistic, beautiful, and exclusive. Before her reign as Vogue editor-in-chief, Anna Wintour worked alongside Penthouse Magazine's Bob Guccione to elevate Viva magazine, an adult women's magazine, into a forum that exalted beauty, love, sexuality, and fashion. To Guccione, Viva was the yin to Vogue's yang; for what was nudity but an extension to art that could thrive in the world of fashion? Often on its pages were men and women in the tumults of love-making – accompanied by an engrossing story of their toxic affair – matched with spreads of delicate naked nymphets running in the forest. Ahead of its time, Viva featured the naked body and its pure natural beauty, which today would be excepted as art, but back then was limited by the categorization of "porn."

How to Find a Sugar Mama
Gershwin piano concertos flooded the penthouse bedroom as the young, muscular stud uncorked a third bottle of Dom Perignon, drenching his matronly lover’s taut stomach and pussy with the gushing champagne as she laughed wildly. On the luxurious Egyptian cotton, the two are rolling in the sheets, enjoying the feel and heat from one another.

How Do Porcupines Have Sex?
Intrepid mammalogists have peered at the amatory conjunctions of elephants and whales, they have even studied how angleworms tie the lover's knot. But how do porcupines have sex? For a long time, no one knew. Porcupines are diffident, nocturnal beasts, and they like to climb trees. And people who find themselves in porcupine territory almost always can find something better to do than shinny up a spruce to see what Erethizon epixanthum and his chums are up to.

Jewel Box Revue
The most unexplainable phenomenon of show business in the year 1962 was the sudden increase in the popularity of that highly specialized branch of entertainment known as female impersonation. Very simply, female impersonation consists of men who dress like women, sing and dance like women, and even beguile and titillate like women. Several dozen companies of these female impersonators toured the nation's theaters and clubs, playing to record crowds.

Showgirls' Elizabeth Berkley
Given her notoriety from Showgirls, it isn’t that surprising that Elizabeth Berkley’s first passion was ballet. A dancer, model, and child actor who had guest starred on Silver Spoons along side fellow child actor Ricky Schroder, Berkley had just turned eighteen when she landed the role of Jessie Spano on the 90s teen hit Saved By the Bell. She was one of the first contemporary teen actresses to transform into a sex symbol on network television. Saved by the Bell first aired in 1989. Six years later, her sexualization was completed with the starring role in the cult classic Showgirls, by renowned director Paul Verhoven. She would set the stage for similar teen transformations like High School Musical's Vanessa Hudgens, Hannah Montana's Miley Cyrus and Wizard of Waverly Place's Selena Gomez.

How to Talk Dirty
Talking dirty can be a turn-on, and if it's done right, it can be an incredible turn-on. The mind is the most important sex organ, and it can be reached by words, as well as by physical contact. When making love, we can also enjoy saying things to each other that we don't ordinarily say, just as we enjoy feeling parts of each other's bodies that we don't usually feel. All those great words: fuck, screw, shit, piss, clit, cock, etc., have the sacred power to arouse the erotic forces in us. One of the reasons these words are often banned from polite usage is to preserve their strength. Overuse would dull their impact and detract from their primordial powers.

Why 'Game of Thrones' Loves Porn Stars
For such a widely viewed and, might I add, socially accepted show, there sure are a lot of tits and ass in Game of Thrones. And not just naked girls, but generally rough sex. Hold on a second, isn’t that what porn is always slated for? Then who better to cast as these naked bodies then porn stars themselves? I have to hand it to the casting directors, casting porn girls for nude roles and sex scenes in a mainstream television production is a genius plan. We are comfortable with nudity and sex, and it’s not awkward or hard for us to imitate these things. I was also told, upon my first time on set, that I made the other girls who hadn’t done nude scenes before feel more comfortable, because I was so comfortable with being naked.

Amputee Sex Fetish
No matter how many times I hear it, the term "amputee sex fetish" always brings a smile to my face. In an age of pansexuality and transgender equality shows, I am happy to hear there are still boundaries to cross, things that have yet to be accepted for their delicious deviance and yet innocent nature. Should an amputee be held back from experiencing the pleasure of fetish sex? Absolutely not. Not in a world where guys in wheelchairs can shoot three point baskets like they were in the NBA. More importantly, with transhumanism on the rise, now is certainly the time for undiscovered country.

Why We Have Sex with an Ex
Why do we keep going back to our exes? You’d think we’d know better. We’ve been there, done that, and kept his t-shirt (and possibly sleep in it too). We know it ended for a reason, but as time passes we seem to forget the bad stuff and only see the relationship through rosé tinted wine glasses. Why is that?
