The Shadow
There are five wagons in our group winding slowly through the forest on a dirt road. Ours is the last in the line of covered wagons, made of old ruined automobile parts. The three of us sit in the bed of our wagon in brooding silence until Amy, the more talkative one of our group, speaks.

This was a horrible way to approach the topic of relinquishing my rights to my privacy, or so I thought. What had happened was the wall between me and another state of being had started to be crumbled and someone from the other side was digging through it trying to get some attention. Magic: Ceasing to Be Fiction?
Throughout the years, it has been apparent that series based around magic have accumulated large fan bases (Also known as fandoms). One of the more infamous of these series is known as Harry Potter, which takes place in a world where wizards and mythical creatures such as dragons exist amongst regular human beings (Or muggles). For any of my older readers out there who have had children anywhere between 1990 and around 2010, you have probably encountered this series as your children have read the books, watched the movies, and/or asked you about buying them merchandise. 'Hogwarts School Of Witchcraft and Wizardry'— Or, rather, simply 'Hogwarts'— Is a school that surprisingly many kids have wanted to go to, despite it being completely fictional. You have also probably heard of people flaunting around wands and shouting out what sounds like complete nonsense; ranging from young children all the way to grown adults. It's impossible to stay away from these series, and for a good reason: They entice us. Think about it: How cool would it be for a human, who was destined to be naturally flightless, to be able to glide through the skies on a broom? Wouldn't it be awesome if you could wave a wave, say "Metamorphie Faciesse*!", and instantly transform into a rabbit? It's part of being a human to be curious, and an even bigger part to be imaginative; so, it's only natural to want magic to be real.

Death of a Nephilim
I can remember everything so well. It felt so real, I’m sure that it actually happened. It had to. The first thing I remember was me running into a large room that looked like some sort of 1920s ticket booth. It was shielded by a glass wall that stood on top of a long desk and wrapped around the perimeter. The glass had black handprints on it, and some even dragged down the glass. It creeped me out a bit, to be honest. A humongous room that was about the size of a hotel lobby laid outside of it and seemed like it had been abandoned for years. I looked around the small room for something that I couldn’t quite remember what for but that is probably the reason why I came up with nothing. As I began to panic, I started to scan my surroundings once more and came to the realization of one important fact: there wasn't another soul in sight.
