Phoenix Rising
The reaction from people when I say, “Oh, I’m a Scorpio” varies from a step back to “I know that means you’re a freak” and the occasional “A lot of Scorpios are serial killers”. Yes, the majority of serial killers statistically are Scorpios, but it’s our passionate ethics that drive us to the most extreme. We are often misunderstood in the most complex form of the definition. There is a key piece of information that most people are not aware of about Scorpios, and is one of the main reasons for our misconceptions. There are three stages to the Scorpio: The Scorpion, The Eagle, and The Phoenix. Some Scorpios can evolve into all three, be stuck on one level and never evolve, or achieve only two stages. Scorpios can intertwine all stages, or once evolved into the next stage completely phase out the one before. We are all uniquely intense, passionate, mysterious, and freaky. One Scorpio may possess similar traits to another, but the way we utilize them all differ.

In The Stars It is Written
Some may argue that the stars dictate whom you are? I beg to differ, ‘dictation’ of whom you are is not only written in the stars, fore, you are the very fibers that compose those clusters of dust! You are the celestial body that those nuclear cores churn and burn for. The Taurus constellation is composed of the essence of which that I am born of and born from. It is my ‘château of fortitude’....it is my ‘Merkabah’.

Gemirus
I grew up trying to fit into Pandora's Box of Gemini. But it never felt like that box was destined to fit me very well. The only thing that I could make sense out of being born Gemini was the dueling personalities. I thought somehow that must account for the fact that I wasn’t outgoing, I wasn’t talkative, I wasn’t a social butterfly. I was the other twin. The imperfect one that blended well with wallpaper!

Scorpio: Pandora's box of the Zodiac
In the astrology world, there's a lot to be said about Scorpios. A LOT. I don't follow horoscopes at all, and I know nothing of what my rising or moon signs are. However, I do think the personality profiles and traits assigned to each zodiac sign are interesting. They can be fun as long as they're not taken completely seriously. We are more than that within the bounds of our star sign.

In the stars
What do Bill Nye, Chrissy Teigen, Tina Turner, Britney Spears, Jay Z. and Brad Pitt all have in common? They're all Sagittarians. Dating from November 23 to December 22, Sagittarians thrive off of optimism and passion. There are two cusps associated with Sagittarius. A Scorpio-Sagittarius cusp (I like to call them Scorpi-ttarians) and a Capricorn-Sagittarius cusp ( I like to call those Capri-ttarians.) Theses cusps have aspects of both signs and are usually one to two days after the beginning of the season or the end of the season. The sun changes zodiac signs every month, while the moon changes zodiac signs every two to three days. This is why not every Sagittarius is the same. Known as one of the three "Fire Signs" and ruled by lucky planet Jupiter, Sag. is a sign that isn't afraid to go on an adventure without hesitation. I, myself fall into the "Unicorn" category of Sagittarius. The comparison to the mythical creature comes from the unique quirkiness all Sagittarians seem to have. In my natal chart, the Sun, Moon, Mars, Venus and Mercury are all align with the lucky sign Sag. With this stellium, I haven't found a Sagittarius, more Sagittarius than myself. Philosophers at heart and rowdy at a whim, the fun sign of Sag. is always down to party.. or have a drink.. Or move cross-country. Zeus (Yes, god of thunder, King of Kings) is a Sagittarius, need I say more? Other adjectives to describe this sign would be; Bold, rambunctious, honest, intellectual and eccentric. To be fair, I will give a narrative of some not-so positive aspects of being a Sagittarius. I have never seen a Sagittarius be on time for any event, or be patient. Often known as the "runaway brides", Sags fall in and out of love quickly. They are attracted to new information, which often comes with new people. Their love for culture is associated with wanderlust, ever searching for more knowledge. This makes it hard to settle and difficult to keep their eyes on one person. Sagittarians are also common victims of 'foot in mouth' syndrome. A Sagittarius Sun or Mercury placement is always down to say whatever comes to mind first. Being one of the four mutable signs means that we are always on the lookout for change and new friends. It's fairly easy to keep a conversation with a Sagittarius, because they are often personable. The placement in your natal chart is important to look at when decoding why certain Sagittarians act certain ways, but the surface is all usually the same. Longing for freedom, curious and always great entertainment. Let's talk about compatibility; Sagittarius is a masculine sign ruled by logic and knowledge. There are five other zodiac signs categorized as "Masculine", (More in tune with logic over emotion) those are Aries, Leo, Libra, Gemini and Aquarius. The compatibility with the other two fire signs, (Leo and Aries) includes plenty of passion, feistiness, excitement and fun. When compared to the air signs (Libra, Aquarius and Gemini) there will always be plenty of communication, balance and harmony. Although there are many negative stereotypes about the sign, Sagittarians have plenty positive ones as well. Forever spontaneous, never lacking in the curiosity department, enticing and generous. Sags. Love a good gamble and are whimsical to boot. Creative, critical, constructive, humorous and of course: escape artists. The next time you go looking for the perfect wingman, Need some extra luck at the casino, want a philosophical debate or need to run away, find the nearest Sagittarius and buckle up for a wild adventure. You'll be sure to gather up plenty of good future bar stories!

On The Cusp Of ......Something
I’m just going to come straight out and say that Scorpios have a disgustingly bad reputation for no reason at all. People think that just because we are secretive, jealous, obsessive at times, violent, and unforgiving, that we also aren’t some of the absolute best folks to have around! True, we aren’t the most friendly sign in the world, but honestly, if you piss one of us off, it’s most likely your fault. Everything we do is in our own defense, and we really value our freedom above almost anything else, which makes us similar to another sign. The Sagittarius is warm, friendly, adventurous, and has a great sense of humor. So not all the way similar, since Scorpios are so wrapped in their own head, jokes don’t register as jokes a lot of the time. But as with most other things in my life, it’s a little bit more complicated for me, as I was born close enough to the end of Scorpio cycle and the beginning of the Sagittarius cycle that I have traits from both signs. I was born on what is called a cusp.

Capricorn Lifestyle
I consider myself a true Capricorn man. First of all let's get the record strsight. The symbol for the Capricorn is the ancient mythical Mer-goat, a half-goat/ half-fish creature that derives its wisdom from both intutive and physical realm as defined by www.astrology.com. I feel I am connected to the mythical creature the Mer-goat because I consider myself an earthy bound animal, however growing up in Melbourne, Florida I love water especially beaches. Under the sign of Capricorn with the characteristics described, some of them I can relate to from the physical realm as well as the spiritual realm. One of the emotional traits describe describes the Capricorns can be difficult to deal with especially in relationships.

LEO the Lion
I am a Leo. Not an arrogant Leo, but a bold Leo. I entered this earthly incarnation on August 11. Never mind the year, but suffice it to say I have been here awhile. The things I have witnessed are many and I am a champion to the underdogs of the world, be they humans, animals, oceans, forests or rocks, to name a few. Leos are fierce protectors.

Fixed Star
Up is up and down is down, right? North, South, East, West are fixed, aren’t they? And Right and Left have always been where they are, haven’t they? It is, it always has been, hasn’t it? I am just not so sure anymore. Something has changed. Let me explain…

The Disappointed Goddess
How my childhood blossom my Virgo attributes Growing up I was really aware of my surroundings at a young age, I quickly noticed that my life did not contain luxurious opportunities. Having to realize my family situation and the environment I was raised in, I humbly accepted the choices my parents have made knowing that they were doing their best to provide for me. My childhood as I recall was consisted of financial problems and arguments between the family members. I was taught that family came first but after witnessing many fights I soon learned that not all families are perfect. As my childhood continues, I remember that in every fight that I have witness I would solve the issue in my head and learn what had lead them to the problem. Having to absorbed all these anger and emotions through out my life it made me emotionally stronger and at the same time empty. Obtaining this ability at such a young age can seem very beneficial to the eyes, but for me it was just pain. In my experience I would use this mindset to calm my parents down assuring them that everything is going to be alright, but being there emotionally for my family it was difficult for I also had my own problems. I made a bad habit of helping people than helping myself and it had lead me to not open up to people as I grew up. As of now I am slowly progressing but occasionally I would have this burning sensation that I have to stand up for all types of justice, but as times flows I get hopeless because I know that the world has given up. I would not consider my childhood bad because I have learn how to appreciate my roots and my family because without it I would not be who I am today.
