Destiny
Many people believe that an invisible hand or a web of fate control our lives. Whether it'd be under religion, luck, or circumstance, the end result is the same. Different people are meant for different things. Or are they? Are we really being manipulated by higher powers to accomplish a goal that ultimately wasn't even ours to begin with? Are we nothing but playthings for a handful of beings we can't even see? Would that even make us real people anymore? Our choices would essentially be some one else's. Our freedom, a cleverly constructed illusion so we are still satisfied enough to play someone else's sick game. It could be worse. If our fates were decided already, it would be a little bit relieving. If what we are to do in life has already been pre-determined, why worry? Greatness or ruin will come to us whether we want it to or not. But is that all life is? Maybe. Maybe not. The alternative is that we are the toys of something much closer.

Woman of The Red Bonnet Society
I had ten minutes left to accept my assignment to assassinate yet another undeserving target. I crawled out of bed and moseyed over to my vintage vanity desk to set my cell phone timer. Today, I have the misfortune of deactivating a woman named Maria Bowler, a beautiful woman in the wrong line of business. I wanted out, right now, but I was smart enough to know there was no way out of my organization. If I don’t confirm my acceptance when the timer goes off, my boss will have me killed. Every-day I declare an end and give my self ten minutes to think it over and make a final decision.

Is Our Universe Ours?
Almost everything we have ever discovered has turned out to be not the only example. Be it dinosaurs or suns we have found multiple examples of it. There was a time, however, where the Sun was not only considered to be the centre of things (quite the advancement of previous beliefs) but the only example of such a thing; just like Earth was considered to be the only world. Later we knew stars were other suns and some of the obvious moving bodies in the solar system were other worlds. Now we know that other suns have worlds of their own. Some may very well be like ours; in fact, given the astronomical numbers involved this is a given.

Ok, pretend for a minute that the formula for bringing dinosaurs back into existence was just sitting right in front of you. It's completely up to you to make the decision whether or not it happens. You can't phone a friend, you can't ask your followers on Twitter, and you can't ask for a worldwide vote. That decision is completely on you. What would you do?

Magic: Ceasing to Be Fiction?
Throughout the years, it has been apparent that series based around magic have accumulated large fan bases (Also known as fandoms). One of the more infamous of these series is known as Harry Potter, which takes place in a world where wizards and mythical creatures such as dragons exist amongst regular human beings (Or muggles). For any of my older readers out there who have had children anywhere between 1990 and around 2010, you have probably encountered this series as your children have read the books, watched the movies, and/or asked you about buying them merchandise. 'Hogwarts School Of Witchcraft and Wizardry'— Or, rather, simply 'Hogwarts'— Is a school that surprisingly many kids have wanted to go to, despite it being completely fictional. You have also probably heard of people flaunting around wands and shouting out what sounds like complete nonsense; ranging from young children all the way to grown adults. It's impossible to stay away from these series, and for a good reason: They entice us. Think about it: How cool would it be for a human, who was destined to be naturally flightless, to be able to glide through the skies on a broom? Wouldn't it be awesome if you could wave a wave, say "Metamorphie Faciesse*!", and instantly transform into a rabbit? It's part of being a human to be curious, and an even bigger part to be imaginative; so, it's only natural to want magic to be real.

Skinwalker Ranch
It’s midnight in Utah, and a full moon engulfs the ghoulish landscape with a pale blue light. It’s a typical Saturday, except that I’m camping on tribal Indian land. My guide (and protector) for the evening is security from the Ute Indian Tribe. I could swear he’s just as anxious as me. We’re exploring an area historically known for it’s high-strangeness, it’s UFOs, Skinwalkers, and paranormal activity. I can’t help but wonder why I’ve agreed to be bait for this excursion. Yep, human bait. Where we’re camping is said to be directly along the path of the Skinwalker. No, that’s not a good thing. Luckily we have a tribal shaman on hand, just incase things get out of control.
