Don't touch your face while you sleep!
Okay, so, this is a weird one. At first, I thought I was wrong. I thought, "Maybe it wasn't this". I thought maybe if I changed my diet for the better, maybe if I drank more water before going to bed, something would help. But no, it didn't help. So instead, another thought occured. "Hey! Why not test this theory out fully?" So, I plucked up the courage in order to see for myself. I tried this two or three different times on purpose, and I have to say this. Don't touch your face while sleeping!

Some People Can't Recognise Faces
We take a lot of things in our lives for granted, one of them being that we can recognise the people around us. Unfortunately, this is an ability not everyone has, specifically people with prosopagnosia, also called face blindness.

Of Libraries and Bad-Ass Librarians
True story. In the Sahara Desert in the mid 2000s, following the global chaos of the 9/11 terror attacks and in the wake of al-Qaeda and Isis insurgencies across much of the Sahel, the semi-arid African region that borders the southern edge of the world’s largest, most expansive desert, a small band of self-taught antiquarians and librarians vowed to hide priceless ancient Arabic texts written on parchment and bound in books, some dating back to the 15th century and earlier.

More (Un)Common Knowledge About TSA
Before we begin, I would like to let you know this is not the first submission I have made that covers this topic. But instead of making you scroll around looking for it, I added Part One (after fixing a couple of grammar oopsies and punctuation whoopsies) at the bottom of this submission. So, if you want to read them in order (it won’t make too much of a difference either way) then you can scroll on down there first and come back to see what other juicy tidbits I wanted to cover about the nation’s most despised government agency.

Forever Pondering
I've spent much of my life pondering the truths of existence, a fairly large domain of thought to say the least. Several early mornings, and far too many late nights have seen me restlessly tumble down rabbit holes for hours on end. That said, I must admit I can't wholeheartedly say that the self prescribed wisdom I plan to share today is unknown by others; it's simply an assumption I've made based on the fact that there are an innumerable amount of people who don't know the answer to such questions as "what's the meaning of life?" (42), "what is my purpose?" "where did life come from?" and "who am I?" and "what are we?" Furthermore, to say that what I have to say is a fact is simply for the sake of me being able to share it to this prompt. I don't truly know if this is fact or fiction, but I do know that it is the accumulation of all my thoughts on the subject. Thoughts formed by an upbringing in the Christian faith, having friends and family of other beliefs, research on multiple religions (albeit brief research), an unknown amount of time scouring through the internet and listening to the opinions of learned and "enlightened" individuals, and most of all through a life of contemplation.

6 Surprising Foods to Avoid Whilst Pregnant
The first thing I did when I found out I was pregnant in January of 2020 was to purge my house of alcohol. My family was grateful. We gave them the news along with the booze. I wasn’t about to throw away full bottles of whiskey, wine, and cider! The second thing I did was research. Between the piles of papers and brochures my doctor gave me and the stack of books family and friends recommend I read, I was able to compile quite a list of foods to avoid and a few alternatives and work-arounds for when those cravings just need to be satisfied.
