Why You Don’t Need to Watch the News
It is soon to be summer again, our third one since the lockdown and arrival of Covid-19, and we all feel the need to relax, stretch and take time off from work and responsibilities if we can. We need to step away from the noise of our lives and consider what is real and what matters.

Time to Pump The ABS — Umps — YOU’RE OUT!
Its time. We’ve waited long enough. For over 100 years, human umpires calling balls, strikes, fair, foul, safe, or out, were a necessary element of the game of baseball. Because they’re only human, we also had to accept that on occasion, they would make human errors and blow calls.

A windjammer, sails set, seemed to be passing along the starboard side. Then he realized it was an iceberg, towering perhaps 100 feet above the water. The next instant it was gone, drifting astern into the dark.”

On April 9th Add a Little Unicorn Sparkle to Your Day
There's a reason April 9th is one of my favorite days of the year. It's the only day I can get away with wearing my unicorn onesie to work or shopping, or out to dinner. For the other 364 days that aren't dedicated to celebrating unicorns, I settle for wearing unicorn shoes. (For the record, I actually have two pairs of unicorn shoes.)
