New Mirror's Edge Catalyst Gameplay Trailer Released
I was a big fan of the first Mirror's Edge from the get go. The game itself looked fantastic with its minimalist aesthetic and the parkour element was very well developed. When I heard about another Mirror's Edge coming out, I was more than a little bit excited about it then that excitement tapered off for a while. Until today. This new gameplay footage has me amped all over again. The beginning shows more of the same from the first game (which isn't a bad thing by a long shot) and then stuff gets real crazy towards the tail end. Check out the trailer below!

How Final Fantasy 7 Made Me Fall in Love With Games
With the announcement of a remake of Final Fantasy 7, many long-time gamers were suddenly awash with a mix of nostalgia and slight foaming at the mouth. For many, this was the remake that they've always wanted to happen and while I'm doing my best to curb my own personal hype, I can't help but admit that I'm excited. But why? Why would I be excited about playing a remake of a game? I can't speak for everyone but, for me at least, Final Fantasy VII was the game that really made me fall in love with video games. This is going to get a little gushy so brace for that as I step in a mental time machine and hearken back to middle school.

If You're A StarCraft Fan You'll LOVE 'The Rush'
I'm a little late to the party, but here's one for all the StarCraft fans out there. Most all of us who've played the game have fallen victim to a Zerg rush at one point or another. From a gaming standpoint, it can be pretty annoying and demoralizing. But what if you were actually there? The short film 'The Rush' shows us a glimpse of what it would be like to be caught in terrifying Zerg attack. More than that, it gives us a look at what a Starcraft movie should look like if one ever gets made. Please take notes, Hollywood. If you make a StarCraft movie that looks like this then I will happily give you my money.

Fallout 4 Collectors Edition Comes with REAL Pip-Boy
During E3 it was announced that the Collector's Edition of Fallout 4 will come with its very own Pip-Boy! You can relive your Wasteland fantasies or round out that Fallout cosplay you've been working on all this time! Right? Well, sort of. It's not so much an actual Pip-Boy as it is a fancy phone case. You place your phone in the Pip-Boy and utilizing the app that will come out at the same time as the game, you can access all the features of the Pip-Boy via the app. Now, even Todd Howard had to admit that it was a bit of a gimmick but he was right in saying that it's one of the best ones.

This $900 Chun-Li Figure From Street Fighter Will Blow You Away
Street Fighter has been around been around for as long as I can remember. My childhood was built on being at the arcade and seeing a line build up while one person absolutely dominates the machine. Each iteration seems to inspire even more impressive feats and along the way its built a strong fan base. The fanbase is strong enough that some of its most hardcore fans are willing to shell out exorbitant amounts of money for any and all merchandise related to the franchise. Luckily for them, companies like Pop Culture Shock Collectibles are here to serve. Their latest offering is a 30" Chun-Li figure made with exquisite detail and a price that might make your eyes water.

Being a Female Gamer on CSGO
Being a female in the PC gaming community is an interesting experience, especially when it's in very male centred games such as CSGO. I have been playing CSGO for nearly two years. Around my college and later uni days, it is the game that I usually play in the evenings. But I usually face similar responses when I enter a game:

Why 'Xbox Game Pass' Wanting To Be the 'Netflix of Gaming' Makes No Sense
We're living in a pretty connected world in 2017. That you're probably reading this on your cell phone while you're pretending to do things at work is a testament to that. Faster internet speeds and increased device connectivity has given us the opportunity to have near unlimited media consumption at our fingertips. That's why industry shifting platforms like YouTube and Netflix are growing steadily and will probably keep growing as the years roll on. As long as they keep up with the times, that is.

These 'GTA V' Brutal Kill Compilations Are Absolutely Hilarious
Schadenfreude n. Pleasure derived by someone from another person's misfortune. Can you believe it's been four years since Grand Theft Auto V came out? The game took the world by storm back in 2013 and it's been providing bloody good fun ever since. At first it was just with its great gameplay and fun story. People contended themselves with getting achievements or maybe sussing out the secrets of Mt. Chiliad but for some that might get boring very quickly. So what do you do the pass the time in a game that lets you do everything?
