When it comes to video games, I'm a complete novice. I've dabbled in League of Legends and Wii Sports, but that's about the extent of what I've played. I grew up being told that games would melt my brain and would make me violent, and was kept away from them as a result. Any gaming system I had came with a lot of rules and time restrictions.

I woke up early with a raging thirst and an unmistakable raging boner for nothing other than video games. I had planned to wake up earlier, but my lack of money, limited travel ability (due to my van being out of gas), and the general dislike of the crazy guys still following me was weighing down on my every move. So, in light of all of these hindrances, I grabbed wood; my trusty skateboard,"Plan B-Destroy," and rode as fast as I could to the actual event.

The World Health Organization has decided that gaming electronically may be classified as a psychological disorder. What this means for the millions of gamers who obsess over their various consoles, platforms, and systems is that they are exhibiting behavior akin to obsessive compulsive disorder and schizophrenia.

We see full arenas with tens of thousands of people crowded around to watch people compete at video games. We see thousands of people tuned in to various video streams of people sharing their gameplay experiences daily.
