'Super Smash Bros. Ultimate' Makes the Switch Worth the Money
The Super Smash Bros. series has been arguably one of the greatest games in the history of fighting games. The amount of success the Nintendo games have had over the years is astounding. Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is the newest addition to the series, and it hit shelves on December 7 exclusively for the Nintendo Switch. There was an enormous amount of hype surrounding Ultimate, however, it's fair to say that it has lived up to, and possibly exceeded, the hype with its chaotic, yet enjoyable, style of play. The Nintendo Switch has been a decent system to date with many enjoyable games to play, but Super Smash Bros. Ultimate has made buying the Nintendo Switch worth every penny (at least for me).

My Top 5 Zelda Games
The Legend of Zelda is the first video game franchise that I ever took an active interest in and played with the actual intention of getting to the credit screen. It was the franchise that got me into the world of video games and showed me how exciting the virtual world could be.

'Majora's Mask' and the Horror Within
The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask was among one of the first Zelda games I ever played, having picked it up as part of the bundle released in the Collector's Edition in 2003. Of course, since I was new to the Zelda franchise at the time (having only played a demo of Wind Waker and an hour of Ocarina), I didn't know anything about the game and I played it like I would any other game. I remember being freaked out at the cutscene where Skull Kid turns Link into a Deku Scrub, and I was pretty disappointed that I couldn't play as regular Link so early on in the game. My disappointment turned into frustration when I couldn't figure out how to turn back into Link's human form and after a prolonged spell of watching the Moon crash into Termina over and over again, I dropped the game out of frustration; only to pick it up years later in middle school. This time, I actually managed to transform back into Link and actually progress through the game. Eager to make up for time that I had lost, I sped through the first two dungeons with relative ease, before academics caught up with me and I stopped playing right around when I started the Great Bay Temple. I left the game once more, this time not really sure if I would ever pick it up again. As fate would have it, in 2014 out of boredom I started playing it again, and this time I finished it for good.

Let's Talk: 'Pokémon Gold' or 'Silver'
Pokémon Pokémon is something that most of us have heard of at some point. For the benefit of those who haven't heard of it, it's short for "Pocket Monsters." The premise is to catch a creature in a ball that you can put in your pocket and train it to your heart's desire.

My Top Five Legend of Zelda Dungeons
November 2011 was a monumental moment for Nintendo as they released The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword on the franchise’s 25-year anniversary. The Legend of Zelda is one of the most popular gaming franchises in the world, and it is one of Nintendo’s hallmarks; every game in the series has achieved commercial and critical success, and Skyward Sword was special because it was touted to be a major departure from every game that came before it with the introduction of motion controls for Link’s sword movements. For the occasion, YouTuber Austin Hargrave (AKA Peanut Butter Gamer), started a series of videos where he talked about various things in the Zelda franchise for the entirety of November, dubbing the series "Zelda Month." He has since continued the tradition, and several other YouTubers, among people across the internet, have taken up the initiative of making Zelda-themed videos every November.

Intro to Video Games
Hobbies cone in various ways. Some you are good at, some you are not but you strive to enjoy it anyway. It maybe an expensive hobby like building and fixing laptops to participating in stage productions where you are in a musical. No matter what, you have things that make you happy and you enjoy this hobby. For me, that's video games.

Why Charmander Is the Best Starter
Professor Oak is like the local drug dealer of Pallet Town (a little harsh I know). He wait til everyone is just of age and then boom he gives them a little taste of Pokémon and they are hooked. But, what is even worse than this is that he will always give some other chump (who will wind up being your rival) a specific Pokémon that has a better chance of beating your Pokémon, on purpose! Of course he does not tell you this, you just later find out when your rival throws it into your face. However, this does not take away from the fact that you must make a crucial decision on which Pokémon to take, Bulbasaur, Squirtle, or Charmander. Don’t worry, I will make it extremely easy for you.

'Dr. Chaos' on the NES
Dr. Chaos is one serious game, and you’ll either love it, or hate it… or maybe both. Released in 1988 in North America by FCI Inc., and officially titled Dr. Chaos: Hell’s Gate in Japan, you take control of some guy, the younger brother of Dr. Chaos… I guess. I mean, your older brother is some kind of mad scientist, and to further his experiments, he locked himself away in a mansion in the woods.

Did 'Pokemon Go' Leak a Gen 8 Pokemon?
As we all very vividly remember, Pokemon Go blew the online gaming and phone gaming world away in July 2016. Although the hype of the real world Pokemon experience has died down dramatically since the game dropped two years ago, it still has a great number of players who've either played since the beginning or have started between then and now. Either way you twist it, Pokemon Go has had two very strong years of gameplay/downloads in both the Google Play App store and Apple App Store. And we can't disagree with those numbers when you think about their new releases such as the "Celebi and Mew Research Quests," the recent update that gave its users the ability to trade and add each other, and their monthly Community Day events. Their last community day fell this Saturday, September 22nd. The next Community Day will fall on October 21, 2018.
