EA Sports MMA
MMA is a game of the brutal sport of the same name released back in October 2010. It was one of the few titles released when game developers had started to make decent games about the sport. Dana White was feuding with the company after they showed disinterest in making a game for the UFC as they were already developing their own title. The winner here was the gaming community and the MMA fans; as it created an alternate title with all the fighters who were UFC quality, but were not fighting for the promotion at the time. The title had exciting favourites such as "King Mo," Bas Rutten, and Frank Shamrock, all quality fighters who had yet to star in the UFC promotion or had been snubbed for some reason or other.

'Max Payne'
Rockstar Games create some great games and are not only famous for their Grand Theft Auto series. If fans want an all out action experience, they can pick up another great game called Max Payne. Originally produced for the PC, it was then ported to consoles. Max Payne could still stand up in quality against some shooters today. The game looks and plays best on the PC, providing your system is powerful enough, but I had just as much fun playing it on the Playstation 2. On the console version the frame rate can lag from time to time though. You play as Max Payne, a police detective who comes home one day to find his wife and new born baby brutally murdered by junkies.

'Velvet Assassin' Review
Back in 2009 gamers may have missed this hidden gem in Velvet Assassin, a World War II stealth game. You take up the role of fictional spy Violette Summer who's quite easy on the eyes. The character is based on the real spy Violette Szabo and her likeness is uncanny to her fictional equivalent, giving the game a sense of realism. The game itself is very difficult and action fans will get a rude awakening if they choose to go in all guns blazing. You undertake Violette's missions from World War II in various assaults against the Germans. Objectives range from assassinating generals and blowing up depots to securing confidential documents.

Getting gifts for gamers can be, admittedly, kind of tough. There are so many options out there, and so many different types of gamers. Most people fall into one of four categories: Xbox lovers, PlayStation gamers, Nintendo fans, or PC gamers. Lots of people play more than one of these, but everyone has their mainstay. I, for example, mainly play on Nintendo consoles, but also play a lot on my PC, and plan on getting a PS4 Pro soon. But if I could only have one, I'd probably pick my Nintendo Switch. My birthday isn't that far away, so I certainly wouldn't mind if the important people in my life picked up one of these to gift me. 'Farm Frenzy 3: Russian Village'
I don't know why, but I have found myself addicted to this Farm Frenzy series despite its horrible effects and endless glitches. I think I might like the weird sense that I'm somehow running a business that can't go in debt. Also, I kinda like the bears for some reason. The excitement of never knowing when they are going to drop .. unless you already played that level of coarse.

Why Rocket League is Underrated
Rocket League is a physics-based game involving a mixture of racing cars and the classic game of soccer. The game already has 'Very Positive' reviews on the Steam Platform for PC, along with a large amount of players on both consoles and PC/Mac. So why is it not talked about? While Rocket League cannot compare with video game giants such as Call of Duty, Battlefield, or Assassin's Creed Series, the indie racing-sport game offers a lot those cannot. The first being graphics. A lot of games on PC are limited depending on the hardware and graphics of the computer or laptop. Newer games such as Assassin's Creed Origins or Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege require a large amount of storage and high-quality graphics for smooth gameplay. With Rocket League, minimal graphics cards are needed (although recommended to see the full beauty of the game), making the game available to those with older computers with inferior hardware.Secondly, the game offers minimal DLC. What this means to a lot of gamers is having to pay extra money to get the full content of a game. Rocket League only has DLC and micro-transactions for things such as cosmetics, crates, and fancy cars. Like Overwatch's take on micro-transactions, nothing a player pays extra into DLC can directly affect a player's performance (unlike Star Wars Battlefront II). Many of the basic cars given in the full game are nice, cool looking, and don't leave players itching to pay an extra three dollars on a DLC car.Thirdly, the game is fun. While it will be frustrating at first, the game is very difficult to get a hang of. Jumping straight into multiplayer isn't the wisest thing to do, but rather practicing against bots in Exhibition mode. Once the basics are mastered, the game becomes a lot more fun and inviting in the multiplayer setting. Playing with friends is a bonus, as some games require extreme teamwork to increase camaraderie, and often a lot of blunders that leave gamers laughing hysterically. Gamers don't necessarily have to enjoy playing soccer or watching it to enjoy playing this game.The only negatives to the game is the excessive use of coded chat and toxicity of players (that typically comes with every competitive game). Luckily, Psyonix Inc. has taken toxic behavior very seriously, as a report on racist, sexist, or disgusting behavior will not be tolerated. This makes the game a lot more fun, care-free, and competitive in a healthy manner. Rocket League is hardly talked about except by those heavily invested in the game. While some advertisements have been released on television, the game is not very much noticeable on Steam unless during a sale. With the cost at only $19.99, Rocket League opens up gamers to an indie experience of the beautiful mixture of physics, racing, and the wonderful sport of soccer.

'Manhunt'
Manhunt is a unique concept trying to tap into what one might describe as 'the snuff' genre. Rockstar, who are no stranger to controversial video games, put you in the role of a serial killer. 'Cash,' who has been detoured from death row, is now to partaking in the recording of a snuff movie. This is against his will, of course, but he must take part in order to survive. Cash's captor has placed gangs of enemies in remote locations to hunt him down. These locations range from empty backstreets, derelict buildings, to abandoned zoos and shopping malls.

'Far Cry 5': The Good, the Bad, and the Father
For those of you who are new to the Far Cry series and enjoy action/shooters with a bit of story sprinkled on top, this game will certainly be worth the buy. Unfortunately, if you've already logged some hours in the past Far Cry's, this game is pretty much the exact same thing over again. There are some new features which are all nice, but it's still just the same old script.
