The Legacy of 'Mega Man Battle Network'
With the release of the Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection in 2023, there appears to be a renewed interest in the RPG series. However, this resurgence has yet to result in Capcom reviving the series with a new entry. Indie games inspired by Mega Man Battle Network, such as One Step From Eden, EndCycle VS, and Berserk B.I.T.S., attempt to fill this void with their similar battle systems and card-collecting mechanics. Unfortunately, none of these games has perfectly recreated the appeal of the Battle Network series. Enter Shanghai EXE: Genso Network and Mega Man Battle Network Chrono X, two existing fangames that continue where the series left off.

TWW Season 3: Main Lessons and Meta Insights Since Launch
Season 3 dropped in mid-August and the honeymoon was short. Do Players Even Like Arena Existing?
(Intro) Do people actually like arena? I mean it’s kind of a dumb question to ask, but it’s something I’ve been thinking about ever since the start of this hardcore wipe and Ref was added back into the pool of available traders. The game has come quite a long way compared to when it first released and the absolute disaster it was. At least now we can build the kits we want to use with sone level of restriction that feels fair for the most part. But when looking at arena by itself objectively, it feels like it should exist and that there is some level of enjoyment to get out of the experience. Could it still use some tweaks, iterations and additions to fully flash the game out? Of course; all in due time, hopefully. But the experience of the game itself has been marred by it coexisting with EFT proper, and it feels as though that has soured the perception of Arena somewhat. So, let’s break arena down to its core components, look at the game both by itself and when paired with Tarkov proper and ask the question: do people both play and enjoy this game? And what else can we expect from arena as time goes on?

My case for The Sims 3 against The Sims 4
I went back to The Sims 3 recently after Steam put all of the expansion packs on sale for $190 total. Being a 50% off deal, I grabbed and was transformed back to days of being lost in the world of my creation and losing time and not caring in the world how many house have passed. Turns out, two hours had passed as I was simply testing out the game on my laptop. Testing, running, creating a sim, creating their spouse, creating their child, and moving them into their first home to be exact. After three years playing The Sims 4 back in 2014, it was so refreshing to have a game that I enjoyed in my hands again.
