Beyond the Gates weekly highlights February 16 to 20

During the week of February 16 through 20, on Beyond the Gates, Fairmont Crest residents will have business as usual. Lives will be disrupted by betrayals and secrets will be exposed. In other words, it's a normal day.

A new hospital Chief of Staff arrives, a public health crisis threatens, a high-stakes undercover mission takes a toll, plus the typical family dynamics, will lead to a turbulent week.

Cecelia Specht will make her debut as Dr. Lia Whitmore, the new Chief of Staff at Garland Memorial. She will notice the hospital staff mixing business with pleasure and tell them she does not approve of romance in the workplace.

Dr. Whitmore will crack the whip, but she may be hiding a secret. The new CEO might be involved in the public health crisis with the blood plasma scandal. Instead of trying to solve the mystery, she might hinder progress. Specht will be on BTG for 20 episodes that are certain to keep viewers on the edge of their seats and Garland Memorial employees in line. Who will be exposed as her partners in crime?

Monday, February 16: A repeat episode

On Presidents' Day, CBS will air a classic repeat of episode #136 where Doug McBride dies in a car accident. This episode aired in Septemeber 2025. It also features Joey and Vanessa in Puerto Rico, June saving the day, and Naomi suffering a devastating loss. If you missed this episode the first time, you might want to tune in.

Tuesday, February 17: The day of love

Valentine's Day comes late in Fairmont Crest with varied responses from the residents. Drama will not take a backseat on the day of love. Dani forms an alliance with someone shocking to take down a common enemy. Martin's Cupid Day gift to Smitty has unexpected consequences, while Joey will relinquish control to Vanessa, thus solidifying their partnership.

Anita has been so strong, but her health will get in the way as she serenades Vernon. Hayley achieves a much sought-after goal, but an incident involving her face is what everyone will be talking about.

Wednesday, February 18: Deception day

Dani tests Nicole’s true feelings for Ted and the new men in her life. One of them is Dr. Kial. The "shiner" on Hayley's face will be the topic of the day as Tomas senses something is not right and questions her story about the pro bono documents. Bill is unaware of the scam and enlists Joey to find the mugger.

Thursday, February 19: Truth and consequences

Jacob learns a harsh lesson on the realities of deep undercover work from Leon when he informs Naomi he can't see her for a while. Leslie causes a scene at the country club when she ruins Anita's lunch by revealing the secret about her cancer treatment. This leads to Anita collapsing in front of everyone and Vernon rushing to catch her.

Friday, February 20: Backed into corners

Joey watches with amusement as Bill questions Randy and Hayley, who squirm under his magnifying glass. The conflict from Chelsea’s impulsive choice to move to Copenhagen with Madison may destroy their relationship.

This decision blindsided Kat, who now feels betrayed. The rift that has been created threatens both their personal connection and their professional collaboration. It won't be long before everything is destroyed.

Beyond the Gates viewers should keep their eyes open for more on the Hayley and Lynette con, and expect additional information on the Nicole/Kial/Carlton love triangle. Fairmont Crest residents will keep controversy alive, so make sure you tune in next week.
