Comic Book Superheroes Who Died and Stayed Dead
Again and again in comic book lore, the common trope resurfaces that you can't keep a good guy down, and superheroes who die don't have a habit of staying dead. There are some, however, who have managed to exit the mortal coil without tripping through the revolving door of convoluted plots or retconning. Of course this is all correct as of the date this article is published, but we can't actually guarantee that any of these fan favorites haven't been miraculously resurrected after this point. So without further ado, here are some superheroes who died and have been gracious enough to stay dead.

The Top 5 Fire Emblem Characters
For those of you who do not know what it is, Fire Emblem is a turn by turn strategy game series, released on various Nintendo platforms over the last couple decades. Originally only in Japan, Fire Emblem made its way here in 2003 on the Gameboy Advance. It did not get really popular however until recently, when some of its characters were featured on the 2 most recent Super Smash Brothers games. Characters like Marth, Ike became fan favorites, which led to Nintendo sending its two newest Fire Emblem Games (Fire Emblem Awakening, and Fire Emblem Fates) to the USA. On February 2nd, Fire Emblem Heroes will be released for mobile phones everywhere. To celebrate it, I decided to figure out who the best and my favorite Fire Emblem characters are.

Absolutely Nothing Recycled About Re-Cycle
The Hong Kong film masters the Pang Brothers have revolutionized modern horror cinema over the past decade. Their acclaimed movies such as THE EYE, which has been remade countless times within several different cultures by filmmakers desperate to recapture the pure terror of the original film, have transformed the way the horror industry approaches the development of new screenplays. Indeed the face of cinema as a whole, whether it be fantasy, science fiction or horror has been irrefutably altered as directors have attempted to mimic the edgy surreal effects the Pang Brothers use in their films to wreak havoc on the audience’s innate sense of fear. It is a style that is unmistakable and, though many may try, impossible to duplicate.

Mel Brooks' 'High Anxiety' Is Still a Welcome Relief
Mel Brooks' filmmaking career has been a continual source of amazement and amusement for me. Highlighted in The Producers, the unique combination of sophisticated wit and Yiddish vaudeville that inhabit his brilliant comic mind materialized in Brooks’ brilliant yet often erratic films. The manic hilarity of the 2,000 year old man and the distinctly crazy sense of humor that established Brooks as a legendary comedy writer and presence transferred often in a visually shocking way. Mel Brooks' distinct method of transferring his madness into movies became his signature calling card.

Best Joker Depiction in Games, TV, and Movies
Is there any comic book villain more iconic than the Joker? Short answer, no. No other villain has reached the height of popularity on par with the hero they’re in constant battle with than the Joker. Look at the rest of the DC universe, only Lex Luthor comes close, but not close enough. Same goes for Marvel; DC has always had the best villains and they’ve always been led by the clown Prince of Crime. It’s not just comics though: like Batman, the Joker has become a massive cultural force, and a villain who shares the same esteemed cinematic company as Darth Vader and Hannibal Lecter. So let’s countdown the best depictions of the Joker outside of the comics.

Famous Careers That Started On MTV's 'The Challenge'
What started out as a one time crossover between The Real World: Boston and Road Rules: Islands, has now become one of the most exciting reality competition shows on TV. The producers saw how high the ratings were for this small competition and decided to make a new spin-off show that would eventually be called the "Real World/Road Rules Challenge." The Challenge would pit former cast members from the popular show The Real World against cast members from its sister show, Road Rules. Over time the show has been opened up to cast members from the show "Are You the One?" as well as complete strangers on the seasons "Fresh Meat I & II." Over the course of 29 seasons, there have been hundreds of competitors on the show. Most of them have retired and live out normal everyday lives like the rest of us. However, some of them used The Challenge as a stepping stone for bigger and better things.

Best Adult Swim TV Shows
It’s hard to determine the best Adult Swim TV shows, as there have been so many of them over the last decade. Adult Swim has been known for its wicked humor often referred to as "stoner humor," which doesn’t do the network any justice. It’s always more than that and there’s art to this peculiar genre of comedy that Adult Swim has truly perfected over the years. This kind of humor was almost non-existent on TV before the era of Adult Swim and its peculiar shows. Here are some of the best Adult Swim TV shows that have ever been created.
